If the teacher was not in the school on that day as the teacher said.Easy to prove and then look at who said what or did that

Unless he used a VERY long ruler..perhaps even one of those extra long  metal tape measures….

It really concerns me how people complain to the police and nothing is done and that they need to go to social media to get any action for the crime to be investigated

Why do they say about CCTV?  most schools don't have CCTV in the actual classrooms. They have them in the halls but not the classrooms. So, unless the alleged incident happened in the hall or they do have CCTV in this school's classrooms, there wouldn't be anything on CCTV.

If he did it.

Children can tell lies as well.

No evidence to prove it as yet.

Did the three-year-old hit his penis with a ruler?

Sometimes the lack of brains from what people say, is astounding.

And maybe, just maybe, the injury happened on another way.

However, the hang 'em high brigade can't wait to get going on here without facts, witnesses or corroboration.

Lack of brains indeed!!! ..................... Idiocy comes to mind.

So a bit of evidence gathering is required before trashing a schoolteachers career.

Furthermore, it's a highly unusual place to punish a 3-year-old child.

Was something lost in translation with the parent running off gung ho?

A few more facts required

I understand this can be an emotionally charged issue but please refrain from advocating violence. I would suggest limiting any jokes about the subject matter too. (Several posts that went over the line were removed.)

Ok, so there is no doubt about the condition of the boy's penis, no illness or sting. So while at school did the boy not complain about or show signs, of pain? Surely during school time the boy must have complained of some discomfort especially when going to the toilet? Did the teacher just keep quiet or take no notice?

You clearly have zero idea of how thai society functions…

Although somewhat off-topic, all the schools that I've taught in have CCTV in the classroom, for the protection of both students and teachers.

Like the innumerable times it happened in Thai schools.

The apologetic brigade is much more dangerous than the hang ‘em high brigade…

Lack of brains and idiocy really come to mind…

And lack of research and reading of all the past episodes of inane violence against kid in Thai school too…

The Ban Phra Sub-district Administrative Organisation chief later insisted to Channel 7 that officials checked the classroom security cameras and found no evidence of the abuse the boy described.

The teacher also told the sub-district officials that the day the boy claimed the incident occurred was a day off.

So let everyone see the video tapes, interview the officials who viewed the video, and check the work schedule?  It certainly is not impossible that the kid somehow hurt himself playing or maybe another kid kicked him in the nads...maybe a good idea not to hang the accused teacher before a deeper investigation?

Kindergarten classrooms and other areas need CCTV to investigate and deter abuse by teachers like this. There are good reasons why Singapore has just made CCTV compulsory in all areas in preschools except for bathrooms.

According to the OP, they had CCTV in the classroom:

Out of the mouth of a child comes mostly the truth.

So I would rather believe the chlld as I would belive that teacher.

Especially from a three year-old...

Hard to think he already has that kind of malice to lie about that.

He is much more likely to keep quiet as the fear (too often pretended to be "respect") for authority is instilled in Thai culture and society.

Edit:  I should add that these schools are all in Myanmar, not Thailand

No, it isn't. Pedos are attracted to children and often work in schools. The idiots in its country, including the parents, are afraid to confront the teachers.  This is in line with other stories from other animals masquerading as teachers.

Unless you are an African gigolo.

Then, it's "action stations"

Let's not forget the damaged penis.

That's a clue. He didn't do it to himself.

That excuses and excludes all necessity to investigate a case on its merits?

Obviously the little lad went to a ' posh school ' then.

So, we just ignore the statement made below then and go straight to convict him?

My answer is the same as the one I placed above.

Here it is again.

The Ban Phra Sub-district Administrative Organisation chief later insisted to Channel 7 that officials checked the classroom security cameras and found no evidence of the abuse the boy described.

The teacher also told the sub-district officials that the day the boy claimed the incident occurred was a day off.

Should be in jail, but unlikely to even lose job.

Why? so far there is no evidence it actually happened the way the child said. Cameras showed nothing. Teacher claimed it was her day off. Only a 3 year old saying it happened that way. My 4 year old tells lies all the time about what things he thinks he will get into trouble for. Blaming anything and everything on someone or something else. So it is plausible the kid is only agreeing with grandma because she initiated the theory about the teacher doing it.

no cctv in schools? or asking other school kids ? maybe other victims?

my first thought was similar ....   why not ask a few other kids in the room separately whether the teacher hits others, where ? and with what ?

I seriously doubt the kid would make the story up.

If I was the parent, that teacher would be punished....   by me and whatever means possible.
