British Man Arrested for Jewellery Theft from Tourists in Pattaya
Budget air travel has a lot to answer for. Loads of low IQ males arriving here now and not leaving. I hope Thailand makes it much harder for these types to stay longer term which I have heard is in the pipeline now that COVID is over. -

Barron Trump: The Rising Star Winning Hearts at NYU
The poor lad needs to be left alone and be allowed to do all the stupid things that the kids of less famous parents do, without the cameras tracking his every move, and the fear of people rushing to sell their stories of him to the highest bidder. It must be difficult enough growing up as the son is such a reprehensible character as DJT, but the boy didn't ask for that. Let him be a goofy teenage boy in peace. -

Skype is now only doing monthly subscriptions
I think the issue with Thailand, is that Localphone began with a service that supplied you with a local number to use in order to connect to the International number. So people could use the bundled minutes on their calling plans(house and mobile phones) to connect to that local number for free and just pay Localphone for the service or you could use a Windows application to connect and bypass having to call via a local number. Obviously Localphone does not have a range of local numbers to use in Thailand nor billing in Thai baht and therefore doesn't offer the Localphone service here. But you can still use it in Thailand by choosing a supported region and connecting via WiFi/Mobile Internet. Nowadays, most people connect via a Smartphone application using Mobile Internet WiFi, but the original local number option allows people to use their normal house phones to connect to their service. -

Transgender Fencer Sparks Controversy with Prestigious Win on Women’s Team
I don't believe in any delusional God, Buddha, etc., but dividing the human race (and other animals) up into just two genders doesn't seem to work for a small percentage of the population. How we deal with that and treat them is the topic. Rather than deny they exist, I would rather see them accommodated in some way, not just excluded.
