Do Thais really attack foreigners for no reason?
Never a problem in 15 years living here. Much safer than where I lived in the US, which was a supposedly 'safe' area with supposedly low crime. -

Thai Cabinet Rejects Proposal to Abolish Capital Punishment
An observer of the effects of abolition in those other countries where, since abolition, killings have risen, and continue to rise, might think the opposite. What those who push for abolition omit from their arguments is that an effective deterrent against killings saves lives. Well done Thailand. Keep the deterrent. -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
This is what I would do. If your existing RCBO Safety cut is working properly, I don’t see why you would need another. You have 3 phase, if your planning on staying in that house, I would go for a 3 phase 22Kw charger, if your buying a Sealion 7 (for example) it will charge at 11Kw (don’t buy a 3 phase 11Kw wall box under any circumstances). I would put your wall box on an industrial plug and fit an industrial socket where you want your wall box (red 3 phase 32 amp or blue single phase 32 amp) then you can take the charger with you if you move house. To be neat, I would go for a charger that records what it pumps into the car. -

UK’s Trade Future with EU Raises Concerns Over Return to ECJ Jurisdiction
Yes I did bring up Brexit and GDP but - as I previously remarked - none of the data which you have posted negates the premise that Brexit has had an adverse effect on the UK GDP (and wider economy). Here are some of the estimates contained in the OBR report for ease of reference: As a result of Brexit: * The UK economy has shrunk by £140 billion. * The poorest 10% of the population experienced a 20% fall in living standards between 2019/20 and 2024/25. * Yearly household food bills have increased by £250. * The average Brit has lost almost £2,000. * The UK economy is 2.5% smaller than it would have been if Remain had won the referendum. * Public finances fell by £26 billion a year. * Brexit reduced Britain's GDP by 5.5 per cent by the second quarter of 2022. The OBR report details the assumptions underlining its' estimates and the methodology used. Do you object to these assumptions and/or the methodology used? If so, it would be interesting to see these objections. -

Who has a business in Pattaya?
I don’t have a business in Pattaya, but I know a few folks who do—Pattaya’s an excellent spot for entrepreneurs, especially in tourism, hospitality, and retail. There are many opportunities, but it can also be competitive, so it helps to have a solid plan and connections. If you’re thinking about starting something yourself, I’d recommend checking out fundraising experts for startups. They can help you navigate the initial hurdles and get your business off the ground. Pattaya has a supportive business community, so it’s worth considering. -

GWM Clarifies Electric Vehicle Fire: External Factors, Not Battery Fault
It was arson. Somebody poured fluid over the vehicle and set light to it. The video is on Facebook. -

Windbag at work - again
His main target is ILLEGAL immigration, not legal guest workers with work visas. Europe also moving along the same lines, at last, following Merkel disgracefully opening the doors to all comers. The UK, however. appears to want to continue the unrestricted inflow.
