CharlieH Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Most people talk of Facebook marketplace, and maybe Baht & sold. Would you like to be able buy & sell items on Asean Now ? What concerns would you have about using such a marketplace ?
GypsyT Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 If there were Q: "Would you be buying" results would be greater. 1

Sometimes I have very useful items that I just don't want anymore and will be happy to give away if somebody takes them. 4
FarmerJoe Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 I would definitely use it more than MarketPlace. 1 1
Popular Post Paul52 Posted December 23, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 23, 2024 A musical instrument category would be good, especially one for buying and selling guitars and associated gear. I think there’s a sizeable number of farangs in Thailand who play guitar and other musical instruments for a hobby and would be interested to buy and sell gear locally in Thailand on a platform other than Facebook Marketplace. 1 3
american Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Asian antiques listing would be nice, with subcategories like Chinese, Japanese, etc. 1

I would worry that Richard would use it to show up at my place and chew my ear off. It might be good for some farang type items. Not many Thais would bother as Thai language is banned and most Thais can not read English.

You dont have to post a picture; its just recommended that you do as that will mean a higher chance of selling it if people can see what you are offering. it also kind of proves it actually exists, and people can see the condition, etc. 1
NORDO Posted Friday at 04:42 AM Posted Friday at 04:42 AM The issue I have with FB marketplace is the lack of integrity with local sellers. Some of it is language translation and some of it is obvious dishonestly. B&S tends to have a more farang group whereas you can communicate and mostly understand the honest representation of items being marketed. Asean Now Marketplace may offer expanded solicitation from Farang group. 1
