Another thread about American domestic affairs posted by an Australian, why TF do you care about American  retirement ages and benefit payments? What on earth does it have to do with you?

You are off the chart derangement  sufferer,I think someone should call Guinness to log this as a world record

You have to remember the OP still believes in all the lies.

Well if we can't budget our way it of it, then the only other way forward is to make more money. It is going to take a combination of the two.

Making more money means raising taxes not lowering them.  The last round of tax cuts were supposed to stimulate the economy and thereby generate enough revenue to more than offset the tax cut.

Unfortunately, it didn't work that way.  So much for the trickle-down theory.

Private companies making more money. the government doesn't make money and all spending is a tax.

Interesting opinion piece...

GOP legislators are toying with reducing payouts under the system, including raising the retirement age and other benefit cuts. As one GOP representative recently told Fox Business Network, “we're going to have to have some hard decisions” on Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare.

Trump’s GOP will be making “hard” choices, meaning they will be cutting benefits, in order to fund tax cuts for wealthy donors.

The US Government needs to make some tough decisions about the federal budget.

The combined cost of Social Security and Medicare is about 9.0% of GDP in 2024, projected to grow to 11.1% by 2035 and 12.3% by 2098, with most of the increase attributable to Medicare.

Unable to open that link

Sorry.  Try googling, "How the Government Makes Money, Corporate Finance Institute."  That link should be there.

You can hardly expect those on skid row to pay taxes.

Anyway, it is really not necessary for the bottom half of the population to pay income tax.

The productivity of the USA is already so high that income tax for the bottom half can be abolished.

So half the people vote for higher taxes every year, it's brilliant.

money is the dominant factor in US Presidential elections.

A non wealthy candidate has no chance.

Neither Clinton nor Obama were wealthy prior to being President. They are now of course. And Biden did not get rich until he was vice President.

And according to most of the leftists here, Trump is stupid and broke.

We know that Elon spent $250,000,000 on the election; however Kamala's minders spent from $1,000,000,000-to-2,500,000,000 in 3 months.

How many votes did they buy?  And why didn't Kamala win?

Which is less than .74% of your total population. Of which many are needed for work that support the upper 50% of your population. Systems currently in place are unable to process the people needed via legal immigration. I understand it is important for people to feel in control of their racial quotas and percentages but bottom line is you need immigrants.

No. I don't need illegal aliens, the rich and the left need illegal aliens.

Ten year waiting list for Indian teachers, engineers and doctors, while low and no skilled welfare recipients are allowed to flood across the border to drive down wages of the working poor.

Yeah, I'm just not smart enough to see that as a good thing.

Because people in the US do not want leftist policies.

So you are saying the bottom line is to break the law if it takes too long to get something done.  In this case, immigrants.

One analogy would be if it takes too long to check out your bag of groceries, then walk out without paying.  I could give you many more examples of your faulty logic.

Simply because all the billionaire donors wasted their money in a seriously flawed and disliked failure of a candidate like Kamala and Walz whose seriously ineffective and laughable campaign whose only strategy was to lambast Trump and his supporters as nazis, fascists, hitler, a threat to America, etc only served to ensure Trumps LANDSLIDE election victory. Trump spent $500 campaigning, Kamala spent $1.5-$2B also on Trumps campaign but couldn't see it....lol

He's not making an argument for why immigrants should enter the country illegally, he is making the argument for why the Biden Administration allowing millions of illegal aliens to flood across the border is a good thing, and that the only reason people that do not want to allow millions of illegal aliens to flood across the border is because they are stupid.

Let him speak for himself.

The majority will vote for higher taxes if the majority do not need to pay taxes.

This will increase tax revenue for the government.

Therefore, what are they waiting for?
