One of the worst political takes I ever read. How can a supposed news outlet be so uninformed? Errrrr. The appointments are not usually voted for by the public at large, just the senate. No one voted for Kelly or Bolton.

I know the big T is misquoted about his ''dictator for a day'' remark (which he threw out there for the MAGA fans to lap up). lots of chatter out there, about Musk's appointment. there is no doubt that the big T. wants to push through appointment of all of his nominees, regardless of the Senate approval process.  and he has already said that the process of the constitutional separation of powers, could be evaded, by trying to do a blanket bypass of Senate's core advice-and-consent authority. all for the sake of his definition of efficiency. maybe he's right?  or maybe the saying Where's there smoke' comes to mind.

He can't do that without a constitutional amendment, IMO. He does spout a lot of dribble, and it's sad to see so many getting alarmed by the stuff he wobbles on about.

 

End of the day, he still has to get congress to agree to the big changes. If they agree to it that's on them.
