In a major drug bust in Khon Kaen, a 31-year-old recently freed convict, Jay Ban Phai, was apprehended by local police for resuming drug dealing activities to support his family. This arrest occurred during an extensive operation, "Yuttakarn Pitak Khon Kaen 2023," aimed at curbing drug-related crimes in the province.

On December 16th, at approximately 5:30 am, over 100 officers, led by Khon Kaen's governor, Kraisorn Kongchalard, carried out the operation in Ban Phai district. This included a raid on a community where Jay, along with his partner Tharaluck, was found with nearly 12,000 methamphetamine tablets stashed in a paint bucket, awaiting sale.

Jay, a stepfather to three children and expecting a new addition to his family, confessed to relapsing into illegal activities due to financial hardships and unsuccessful business attempts. He buried the drugs in his mother-in-law’s backyard, planning to sell them once clientele was secured, as financial pressures mounted with a pregnant spouse and school-going children to support.

Kraisorn lamented the prevalent drug issue, stating that despite multiple arrests, the persistent production and distribution networks continue to fuel the problem. The endeavour underscores the necessity for ongoing collaboration among law enforcement to address this pervasive challenge within Khon Kaen.

In a linked operation, authorities also detained 22 drug users in another part of Ban Phai. They face legal proceedings and are set to join rehabilitation programmes, reflecting a comprehensive approach to tackle drug misuse and related offences in the area.

Well, his penis works, it's the rest of his body that doesn't and prefers the easy option of drug peddling.
