Lopburi: Man Run Over & Killed by Truck in Construction Area

An incident occurred in Khok Tum, Lopburi, when a man was fatally crushed by a truck in a construction zone on Soi 6 Thang Daeng, Khok Tum Subdistrict, Mueang Lopburi District, Lopburi Province.

At approximately 10:00 on December 17, the Lopburi Rescue Centre received a report of a fatal accident involving a 22-wheel dump truck. The truck had been delivering gravel to pave a new road in the area.

Rescue workers from the Jao Kwan Tanyu Volunteers arrived at the scene to find the truck parked, with a man trapped under the rear wheels. According to the truck driver, he had just finished unloading the gravel when a passenger, who had been accompanying him, exited the truck to take photos of the work site. While walking around the moving truck, the passenger was struck and run over by the vehicle.

The victim, a man who had been riding in the truck, was walking in front when he was hit by the truck, when the driver did not see hi . The victim became trapped under the truck’s rear wheels, resulting in fatal injuries. The man’s body was found in a gruesome condition at the back of the truck.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and the body has been sent for forensic examination.
