Trump made it clear that he's not interested in business as usual, the one sided trade and defense agreements that have the US paying for so much and getting so little in return.  That's what you get when you send "seasoned diplomats" that have never held a real job in the real world.

Do a balance sheet.  How much free money does the US send abroad, and how much do we get back?

 

While you're at it, look up how much US exports pay in foreign duties, vs how much we levy on incoming goods.

yeah sure economy was great except for 300M or so folks who couldn't afford groceries and outrageous cost of living increases. Why else did Trump get elected, because Biden's economy was so stellar for the average Joe who didn't play the stock market?
