Need information regarding visa run

Featured Replies

Hi,

Good day to all,

My name is Parman, and I am from India. I currently teach at a school in Chaiyaphum, but my contract ends on January 31st next year. I need information regarding the visa run for Indians.

Should I inform the labor office about this? Also, I want to do a visa run. Is it possible for Indians to get a one or two-month tourist visa on a visa run?

I would appreciate your kind help.

Furthermore, if anyone knows of any schools looking for English and/or Computer teaching positions, please let me know. I am seeking a teaching position and have two years of experience teaching English at the same school in Chaiyaphum.

I can share my line.

Thank you.

Ajarn.com is the best source of teaching jobs in Thailand. If the school likes you, better to stay where you are liked by the admin people.  The labor dept doesnt care about visas....IO determines how long a visa you get. Good luck in any case

I think you are meaning a "border bounce" indeed sometimes referred to as visa run.

Indian nationals now can receive a 60 day visa exempt entry.

This initially was till Nov 11, however this was changed and seems will continue to  be available indefinitely.
