I just noticed a new heading on TV that I had not seen before:

 

 

So, the question is:

 

Why do you think the Farang Pub is one of the TOP 3, and rightfully so?

 

I have my opinion.

 

And, what is yours?

However, the term "feck", as you seem to have used it, might mean something else.

Just be aware that popular also includes vast numbers of negative / degrading posts and that PUB has many sub-fora.

There was a time when the call went out: MAKE "ASEAN NOW" GREAT AGAIN.

GG heard the call and responded with tireless vigor. A day without posts from GG is a day without sunshine.

I await GG's posts on the edge of my seat daily. I have to be tied down to my seat with a solid rope, as without it, I tend to fall off my seat, due to over-exitement.

Speaking of being tied down to one's seat.

 

I would suggest that you search for one of JingThing's past posts, if you want to know more about being tied down.

 

JT, himself, mentioned this being tied down.

 

And, his post has stayed with me....til today.

 

Maybe JT will comment further, since I would like to know more about this.

Pretty much all of them that I tried, 'news' forums for instance.  Open forums and see if you have a 'start a new topic' button.    I don't bother searching the forums to post, just put in 'lounge'.  It will get seen & moved if mods or someone wants it.

 

I don't bother much with anything any more.  Think I've lost interest in the forum.  Solar & EVs was my only interest in joining.  Never did like TV, and didn't realize AN was TV, simply renamed, and better format.

 

AI generated topics don't interest me, as usually silly and just wrong or bias.  Trolls are annoying, though I'm past replying to them.  Probably 20+k replies, post are to them, sadly.

 

Aside from AN being a left leaning forum, which I'm not.   Lately I'll scan through 6 hours of 'new content' in about 5 mins.   Most new threads are AI generated, or the same silly questions from the same silly people, most on my ignore list.

 

AN is a very quick read now.  I finished with my EV, Solar & budget thread, so isn't much more I can add to the forum, not that anyone cares.  Got to love when people with no experience, question yours, or just state I'm lying.

 

Nothing for me to take away from.  Food & eating healthy was interesting for a while.

 

Photography & drones don't get much interest.  It is what it is, or was, and why the lounge gets more attention, as people are allowed to express their opinions or thoughts, with less complaining and or moderation.

 

Finally after 4+ years, we're not actually allowed to comment against the MSM, about covid.   Still can't criticize, name call politicians or people, unless it's Trump or Musk, or anyone they work with.  Nuff said their.

 

Seems every thread, has some info on the 1st page, then the rest is 'hand bags @ 10 paces' or my 'mines bigger'.    Oh well, have a good one.
