Which is your priority, searching for pleasure or meaning?

lost 80kg last year, have put 20 back on.

Wow, those are big swings in bodyweight. Also not that healthy actually to swing so much as you get older. But as your age, it's actually better to be slightly overweight than slightly underweight. It will make you a bit more resilient to illness. But as you know, too much overweight isn't good either.

I no longer search for meaning. I just live each day as it comes and enjoy doing that.

Me, I prioritise meaning but fall back into the pleasures all too often.

Hasip/hasip – both meaning and pleasure – "The purpose of our lives is to be happy"...:thumbsup:

sorry 2022 I lost the 80,went to hospital... now end of 2024 have 20+.

There is no "meaning", so pleasure it is.
