MAGA Crisis Could Mean There Is No Trump Inauguration on Jan. 20

With Mike Johnson’s speakership in peril, lawmakers worry the House won’t be able to certify Donald Trump’s re-election victory.

"If the election isn’t certified by Jan. 20, the Constitution is clear that Biden’s term has ended, taking him and Vice President Kamala Harris out of the line of presidential succession. The speaker of the House would be next in theory, but since that position would be empty too, it would pass to the Senate president pro tempore, the majority party’s most senior senator.

That would be Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa. Speaking of whom, has anyone checked on Grassley lately? The lawmaker turned 91 in September."

Not angry in the least, just correcting  your false implication you wrote. Your group hates facts and when confront makes empty claims as thats all you have.

you're gaslighting with the issue you tried to take out of context of what was written for your distorting agenda.  If you cant discuss honestly then I'm done discussing this with you as its circular on your part.

Nothing taken out of context. You see it from your biased worldview as noted by your post history.

Thats right up there with your previous false claim Trumps 1st term pre covid was an economic crash worse than the Great Depression. We ought not let -ve emotions overrule logic and fact, no matter how strong the emotion is.

I agree, but Trump will have to hush his mouth and hope his collective rabble in the House agree to also cool their jets on ousting the Speaker.

The joke's on you.

You might think your little greeting card looks impressive, but the reality paints a very different picture.

Guess where 62% of total US GDP is generated?

(Hint: It's blue on your greeting card.)

You should say 'thank you' to those blue areas, as it is their skill and hard work that pays your government pension. Red areas are mostly all net takers from the Federal trough, while blue pays the bills.

If you keep crying hard enough the red might change to blue.

It’s over for the lefties.  America doesn’t want them.

You are not in a position to translate anything because you only know 1 way, the dumb Trump way. In order to be able to translate you at least, need to speak 2 languages DUDE. The fact that you are a elitist hater firs very well with the fact that you live in Cambodia. The Kmer Rouge did not like them either.

The Khmer Rouge were Socialists, like your heroes

What a puerile comment!

It is the quiet unassuming modesty of you Yanks that makes you so endearing to all the other people of the world!

"Oath Breaking Insurrectionist."  That requires a trial and conviction.  There hasn't been either.  Ain't going to happen.  If it did, my guess is it would be the catalyst for a civil war, which in my humble opinion many on the progressive-left would prefer over Trump taking office.  The actual "insurrectionists" are those who now are attempting to set the stage for the overthrow of the democratically elected President of the United States.

There's no doubting that the biggest gdp contributors are the blue states. He could very well be correct.

It's not all of us.  I'm a US veteran, so anyone who wishes to question my so-called "patriotism" can bite a rock. And yeah, a whole lot of my fellow countrymen believe in "US Exceptionalism."  We're the "shining city on the hill."  We're the "garden in the jungle."  Actually all the US is now is Empire In Decline.  The US has had it's day.  Most of the US GDP is created out of "services."  It creates very little that is tangible. China is the world leader in manufacturing, and as such, the US empire wants to now go to war to destroy it. Like all empires, it wants whats the resources of other countries and if other countries don't "bend a knee" and become vassal-states, then the US will take it forcefully.

I'm anti-war and anti-empire and anti-colonialism.  I'm pro-peace and pro-trade and pro-international-commerce.  The US can't stand any of that.  And with Trump coming into office, I expect that the US Exceptionalism trope to be beat to death for the next four years - he's already signaling the roll out of a new Monroe Doctrine policy.  We'll, he did get into office by promising to get us out of foreign conflict, but time will tell about that.

One thing about US vets.  We tend to hold two competing ideals:  We love our country for it's Constitutional freedoms and rights, but we are also some of its harsher critics when it comes to foreign policy.  Why? Because we were the cannon fodder sent to foreign countries to "project power" and to enforce US foreign policy as flawed as it is.  I am 100% for a defensive military in the US used to defense its borders and sovereignty; I'm also 100% against foreign adventurism in the name of US Exceptionalism and US corporate profits.  A lot of the "Yanks" who carry on about US Exceptionalism never served a day in any of the US militaries.  That says a lot.

Most non Socialist people love Americans. The exceptions are the European elitists that have an inflated vision of where they stand in the world from under Lady Liberty's robe.

Yep. By the way - there are a whole lot of Republicans-In-Name-Only who need to be voted out of office in 2026. True Republicans are traditional conservatives who actually believe in the US Constitution. I'd venture that half of the Republicans currently in Congress are RINOs. Many are just Democrats who call themselves "Republican." Liz Cheney comes to mind. Speaking of Liz Cheney, she got pounded in the 2022 election.  Harriet Hageman received approximately 66% of the vote, while Liz Cheney garnered about 29%. RINOs are not fooling any conservatives anymore. They all gotta go in the next election cycle.  We need the US to return to its conservative roots.  Watch!  I just whacked a hornet's nest. 🐝

Thank you for your service. Remember that it doesnt make your voice louder or better. Also remember that American vets generally all love their country, but all have different idea as to what policies serve our country.

Thats the American way!
