Non-O Visa Requirements Doubts
Thank you guys for your replies. The option of bring with me the money in cash and then put it on in my bank account is not valid then? I know it may be risky but it is another option. Is it mandatory the money come from overseas? @Global Moderator I am from Spain. I have already checked the required documents for getting my Non-O visa in the Thai Embassy here and I think it is easier than the extension. I have another question: one of the requirements for the extension is: Copy of house lease agreement, identification and household registration of the owner. If we are living at my wife's apartment I guess this requierement is not needed, right? Many thanks in advance, -

renewal of british passport for invalid individual
I used Thai visa Express to renew my UK passport last year. and I found them very reliable, efficient and not that expensive. They were even able to pay my fee to the passport office in the UK. Back in March 2024 the passport took about 3 weeks to be replaced. Paul Aslett was the person I dealt with and he kept me informed all the way. I am afraid that I cannot help you with the second part of your request as I live in rural Kamphaeng Phet and I use a completely different office. The only comment that I can offer is that most likely his new visa will expire on the date that his old passport expires, as mine did. I have no idea if Thai.visa.express could or would act as an agent for your husband. though they may be able to do so, or perhaps refer you to an agent who can do it. I hope that you are successful. -

Biden Approves $8 Billion Arms Sale to Israel
If you are referring to Benjamin Netanyahu, he was born in Tel Aviv in 1949, after the establsihment of the state of Israel. His mother had been born near Tel Aviv in 1912 when the area belonged to the Ottoman Empire. Some of his mother's relatives had lived in what would become Israel since the 1870s. His father had been born in Warsaw in 1910, but immigrated at the age of 10 with his family to Mandatory Palestine in1920. To call Netnyahu a "Polish Jew" is absurd. The Polish government wouldn't recognize him as a citizen. Under Polish law, Netanyahu is not entitled to Polish citizenship because his father was born in Warsaw over 100 years ago and lived there for 10 years as a child. @NorthernRyland Would you say former President Barack Obama is Kenyan because his father was born in Kenya? Was the most famous Palestian leader actually Egyptian because Yasser Arafat was born in Cairo? -

SO who of you guys live in Thailand?
Okay, I understand. It was @MalcolmB's fault that you behaved badly.....due to your high self esteem and intolerance towards "prejudiced asses". Thank you for edumacating me about NP, as before you informed me, I was sure it was just people who took 'selfies'. Thank you for letting me know that I don't know anything like you do and I should look through all of your posts to find out how helpful you are. I apologise that I've only seen your contemporary posts where you appear to name call or just praise yourself. Thank you for letting me know that I was just skimming over your posts and somehow missed everything that you wrote. I hope my reply is somewhat enlightening to you, but on current showing, I doubt it. Why not just agree to disagree and move on? -

Yes, Virginia, Donald J. Trump WILL be the first convicted felon to become U.S. president
Since when has Congress the power given to the Judiciary. AFAIK, no court has ruled that Donald Trump has committed an act of INSURRECTION or REBELLION. Sounds like when Obama announced that if Congress doesn't do its job he can do it for them. -

SO who of you guys live in Thailand?
Thank you, @still kicking, for bringing up this topic, because I had no idea that many/most posters are NOT in Thailand (or regular, frequent visitors like the off-shore men). That explains why so much monkey chatter noise here. So many posters just don't have first-hand experience or any recent experience on topics related to expat living. So why do they pollute the forum with endless silly comments? My own "ignore user" list has hundreds of user names, and still growing. Shouldn't be like that, but it is like that. It's the only way I know to stay focused on topics that are relevant to expat living in Thailand. Well, this topic has helped me to understand a bit more than before. -
