Is Earth round or flat❓
Bearing in mind all these speeds are relative to some other object or frame of reference....there is no absolute motion in Einsteinian mechanics as there is no absolute space. -

DIY solar system - how to sell electricity to PEA
Yeah, that's one reason we decided to go it alone and have an off-grid system with batteries. More expensive equipment but we DIY'd the system so no installation costs (ok much reduced coz I still ended up paying family for labour). We retain our PEA connection for backup (it also runs the water heaters to keep the meter moving). -

Does your Thai wife or girlfriend ever foot the bill?
It's good you kids don't refer to her as 'the Thai'. When you borrowed all that money against your land with each new loan to pay the interest on the old ones, you probably weren't thinking it was something you could tell her about, but when she saw you moping around and she asked why you suddenly weren't happy, and you explained how could be happy when you had "big ploblem cannot talk about", and she asked what it was and you told her and how you would lose the land she built your house on....... -

30 Did-You-Know Questions for those 'on the fence' about the mRNA jabs
Two tiered response in separate comments: Firstly - there most definitely is a disease called rabies.... and it can get transmitted to humans through its saliva, usually via a bite, scratch, or lick on broken skin or mucous membranes (such as the eyes, nose, or mouth). Facts: Cause: Rabies is caused by a virus from the Rhabdoviridae family, specifically the genus Lyssavirus. Symptoms in Humans: Early symptoms include fever, headache, and general weakness. As the disease progresses, symptoms can include anxiety, confusion, agitation, hallucinations, hydrophobia (fear of water), difficulty swallowing, and paralysis. Once clinical symptoms appear, rabies is almost always fatal. Prevention: Vaccination: People exposed to potentially rabid animals should receive post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), which includes a series of rabies vaccine doses and, in some cases, rabies immune globulin. Transmission: Rabies cannot be transmitted through casual contact like petting a dog or being near it unless saliva comes into contact with broken skin or mucous membranes. Without prompt treatment, rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms develop. In humans, the disease caused by the rabies virus is simply called rabies. When the infection progresses, it is often referred to as human rabies or rabies encephalitis (because it leads to inflammation of the brain). Early treatment after exposure (post-exposure prophylaxis or PEP) is highly effective in preventing the disease from developing.
