At  the risk of annoying people who have heard all this before.....yes....she has footed the bill for..........

Three bedroom house, all ensuite

1,500 sq ft of outdoor living space with pool table, bar, kitchen, veranda

Around 40 rai of land

A one bedroom, resort type house house

....and she's halfway through building a  rustic 'restaurant' and bar.

To be fair.....if we go out, I pay for all the food and drink.....fortunately she doesn't drink.

Where she got the money from? Your account, or your generosity?

No.

We married in 2006 and she lived with me in Germany, where she worked for the British MOD until 2019.

We lived free of rent, no household bills, no VAT,........ I had to pay NI and UK income tax., but she only paid NI.

She was entitled to buy tax and duty free cars....one a year.....which she sold back in the UK.

I would guess she cleared 10 to 12 million baht.

Oh and she is entitled to a UK state pension to boot.

Soz to disappoint.

Oh, and how could I forget some of the other things my wife does for me bob? She’s honestly amazing. For starters, she had my teeth completely redone because she said I “needed a winning smile.” Full veneers, paid fully in cash, Thai Baht, of course. Then there are the weekly massages she insists I have, apparently it’s “good for my posture” (her words). Naturally, a happy ending is always on the menu and part of the full repertoire. She insists!

She also handles all my online shopping. Anything I even think about wanting seems to just show up at the house. New golf clubs? Boom, delivered. A Rolex I casually mentioned liking? Already on my wrist. And for special dinners out, there’s a Patek Philippe on standby, she says variety is key.

And the best part? She insists I never bother with work again. “Why waste time working when I’ve got it all covered?” she says. So now I’m officially living the dream as a man of leisure. Last month, she even bought me a 45’ speedboat, nothing too posh, just something “to keep me busy.”

Honestly, the list goes on, and I’d probably forget half of it if my mistress didn’t keep reminding me how lucky I am to have a wife like her.

I have no idea what the British MOD is, but they must pay a generous salary, if she was able to save a million a year, after living expenses and taxes

So you didn't read my post?

We lived free, she paid no income tax or VAT on anything.....and yes, the salary plus the car deals and zero outgoings......a little less than a million a year is about correct......although the exchange rate much better rate than currently kind of 55 ish on average.

No, never even once bob. Come down to the marina in Pattaya and I'll take you for a super, fun day out on the boat. My boat captain is the best driver the eastern seaboard has to offer. I'll also fully stock it with beer and tarts before we cast off. Just bring your favorite stay-hard cream because, gawd knows, you will need it!

She pays for what she wants and I pay for what I want. I usually want a lot more so spend much more each month.  If she didn't have money, I would pay for everything which I have done in other relationships.  I tend to pay for most nights out.

Oh wow, you’re absolutely right, I completely forgot about those things! My bad. She did, in fact, buy my dad that top-of-the-range electric SUV last year. How could I forget that she also built houses for both my parents and my 3 uncles. And yes, she even covers my nephews car payments every month because, you know, why not.

Now that you mention it, I also forgot to mention that she bought my brother a brand-new Ducati because she thought his KTM “didn’t suit his style.” Oh, and she’s paying the school fees for my kids from my previous marriage, she insists on giving them “the best education money can buy.” Honestly, she’s so thoughtful it’s hard to keep track of all the amazing things she does.

Thanks for reminding me. I’d probably forget my own head if she weren’t there to hold it for me!

Her putting your kids from a previous marriage through university wasn't why you married her though, right? She just felt obliged to take on this responsibility, no?

Mrs. Neville (born to a family of wealthy landowners) is your classic sugar mama. She always takes care of the bill and would find it very offensive if I ever offered to pay. She's been a bit grumpy of late but we have now kissed and made up, and she's taking me for a slap up meal later tonight at one of the most expensive joints in town..

She dresses me in the all finest clobber, my wardrobe is full of swanky shirts and snazzy jeans - she's definitely a keeper.

We have our ups and downs and to be honest the downs usually stem from when I offer to pay for something out of my own pocket. She gets really annoyed and always asks 'why you want to pay? you already know I have money...' before slamming her platinum credit card down on the cashiers desk..

Is it the same for you lot?

Definitely "bob smith" reincarnated.

Exactly, definitely not the reason I married her, mate. It was because of her unmatched beauty that I tied the knot with her, if I am to be fully honest. She didn’t even know about the four kids from my previous marriage, or all their unpaid debts, until about six months after we did our nuptials. And then, like any good wife would do, she went straight ahead and paid off all their debts and school fees right away.

Oh, and my kids now call her Angel, they say it’s easier for them than trying to pronounce her Thai name. Fitting, really, don’t you think?

It's good you kids don't refer to her as 'the Thai'.

When you borrowed all that money against your land with each new loan to pay the interest on the old ones, you probably weren't thinking it was something you could tell her about, but when she saw you moping around and she asked why you suddenly weren't happy, and you explained how could be happy when you had "big ploblem cannot talk about", and she asked what it was and you told her and how you would lose the land she built your house on.......
