I note that someone was already arrested in advance of Stalin Starmers speech to cower people and hopefully frighten them to prevent them posting on social media (if even that vile person Phillips was threatened with violence that is wrong, but let's face it, pretty good timing).

Welcome to Starmers Britain.

You’re paranoia is getting the better of you.

’Stalin Starmer’, get a grip man.

Of course the right wing media makes this an anti-labour party issue.

That may well be because it was, for the most part, Labour councils, and Labour controlled social service departments that were the enablers of these vile atrocities.

Odd then that the Tory run inquiry missed the opportunity to pin any of this on Labour.

The last Tory government spent 14 years doing nothing! Of course the right wing media makes this an anti-labour party issue. Of course an inquiry should be held, but  don’t fool yourselves that the media, Kemi Badenoch etc. are anything but hypocritical chancers with their own agendas, they don’t give a twopenny toss about the victims.

Well, nothing apart from jailling 100's of the offenders in many different Court cases , stopping the abuse and holding an enquiry, apart from that they did nothing

Once again you display the breathtaking lack of knowledge that you possess regarding the UK; the 2022 Inquiry into child sexual abuse was a totally independent inquiry, and not “Tory run” …. get your head out of the Guardian, and stop making spurious claims.

If you are going to accuse others of displaying ‘a breathtaking lack of knowledge’ on the matter of Inquiries I suggest you acquaint order with ‘The Inquiries Act 2005’.

Pay particular attention to who gets to establish inquiries and who gets to set, and at anytime amend’ the terms of reference of inquiries.

You might then understand that Independent Inquires are not as ‘independent’ as you clearly believe they are.

From the poster who referred to the Boris Johnson Government a "the extreme right wing". I'd tell  YOU to get a grip but you lost it years ago.

Boris Johnson, when did he get into this thread?

Natural evolution of a thread. You seem to think a thread has to stay within your parameters set by you to suit your tactics and inability to make an argument. It doesn't. You told me to get a grip for calling Starmer XXXXX so I pointed what a wh@ckjob you were calling Johnson the extreme right wing.

The board can judge for themselves.

No not all, it’s just the random totally unrelated stuff you pull out of goodness knows where…. Please don’t give details, I’ve just eaten.

They might not be in your country, but they are in the UK.

There you go again with more nonsense.

The Inquiry was in the UK, it was established under the Inquiries Act 2005, Government ministers set the terms of reference.

You clearly have not read the Inquiries Act 2005, I have.

I won't be happy until I see the politicians, who ordered no action, and the police who took no action, jailed.

This has been an evil abrogation of duty by our civic and civil leaders. They must answer to the courts. And not just one scapegoat. Get them all.

Let's not forget the customers that SA'd these girls that had been groomed. We hear they were SA'd multiple times daily. Why not investigate exactly who these men are and charge them for sex with a minor. Of course it might mean a large proportion of a certain population ends up in prison but we either have laws or we dont.

Seems this aspect has been totally neglected.

You’re the one that need to get a grip; Starmer is a Marxist, and is pandering more and more to the Marxist faction of the Labour party, so it is a perfectly legitimate sign to hang on him.

He has just called anyone wanting a full independent enquiry into the rape, torture, and exploitation of thousands of children “jumping on a far right bandwagon” …. absolutely shameful human being, and a traitor to the indigenous population of the UK.

Starmer isn't even a socialist, let alone a Marxist!  The Labour Left/Momentum and George Galloway's party can't stand him and consider him another Blairite.

What is an "indigenous" Briton?

The term indigenous population, which is what I said, is used to describe cultural and social groups that are native to a country, or that share collective ancestral ties to that country.

If you had paid more attention to English language lessons at school, you wouldn’t have to ask me to explain the meaning to you.

The aspect that has been neglected is that white policemen arrested these girls for reporting rapes. One court record has a report of a 12 year old girl naked with several Pakistani men and she was arrested for being drunk.

I jest you not.

These white policemen need to be jailed.

Most of the MPs despise the people , they have long forgotten that they are supposed to work for the people , now they think the people are there to do as they say , a complete new set of people need to run the country and with less government involvement

Ah, so you don't mean "white" then?  Just checking 🙄

Did you do any research before using the term (inaccurately)?

"The concept of an indigenous population can be complex, especially in regions with a long history of migration and cultural exchange. In the UK, the term "indigenous" is not typically used in the same way as it is in countries like Norway or Canada, where there are recognized indigenous groups with distinct cultural identities.

In the UK, the closest groups that could be considered indigenous are the Scottish Highlands and Islands' Gaelic-speaking communities, the Welsh, and the Cornish people. These groups have distinct languages, cultures, and histories that date back thousands of years. However, they do not have the same legal status or recognition as indigenous peoples elsewhere."

I bet many wish Boris was back in charge on this one......

“An awful lot of money, an awful lot of police time, now goes into these historic offences and all this malarkey—and, you know, £60 million I saw was being spaffed up the wall on some investigation into historic child abuse.”

A true guardian of childrens welfare.

You mean just ignore the Jay enquiry, which was very thorough and presented the Tory government with excellent recommendations.......or start another enquiry to delay matters for another decade......have a guess which one.
