Axel Rudakubana, 18, has been sentenced to a minimum of 52 years in prison for the horrific murders of three young girls during a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop. Described as "sadistic" and "pure evil" by Liverpool Crown Court, the attack left seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, six-year-old Bebe King, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar dead, while eight other children and two adults were seriously injured.
‘Moment Axel Rudakubana took a taxi to a Taylor Swift themed dance class in Southport has been released. After not paying the taxi driver, the then 17-year-old calmly entered the building in Southport. Minutes later, screams can be heard and CCTV showed children running outside.’
This senseless act of violence has left a community in mourning and a courtroom grappling with the devastation. Rudakubana's sentencing underscores the severity of his crimes, ensuring he will spend the majority of his life behind bars for actions that have forever scarred the lives of his victims and their families.
