Written and preformed years ago....but hit the nail on the head for what's going on there now.

Los Angeles county is very dry and has had MORE THAN 6000 fires annually in the last 25 years. Almost all on the mountainous North-West side of county where the rich like to live shaded by large dry trees.  

 

It has always been very dangerous to live there due to fires and earthquakes. Therefore, I not not have a lot of sympathy for those that ignored the KNOWN risks. I chose to live in Las Vegas because there are almost no trees so nothing to burn.
