My rental agent “sold” me a Honda Click when I was in UK and  be promised me the transfer would be undertaken on my arrival.

Unfortunately she has disappeared from my condo with several other clients with varying issues.

fortunately I have the last annual tax certificate receipt and receipt giving the name of the owner 

Is there anyone who has been in similar position and was it resolved by using a reliable agency,similar to that used by farang for their retirement visa extension?

Nothing else than a Scam, better to write off the Money.

You need a copy of previous owner ID , the green book, and a few forms signed by previous owner. Without these it's near impossible, and even if done probably fake and illegal ...! 

 

With green book can tax and insure and use the bike, but not transfer to your name, not a big deal if can do that..., not sure if this can be done without green book though...!? 

 

 

Unfortunately can’t get old green book ( only have photocopy of details page showing owner reg number and various bike related reference numbers

It is not possible to transfer the scooter in your name without the current owner ID / housebook copies and signed transfer form.

If a agent says that they can do they do it it's in illigal way and possible not a real transfer.

with the copy of the book, you can get the annual tax sticker and the "government" insurance - but as far as getting a book in your name - you're fook'd ....
