Affirmation of freedom to marry (UK national)
I should have mentioned that, although the British Embassy accepts a yellow book as proof of address, they state that the name has to be the same as in your passport. From my research, the yellow book is in Thai and contains no English so why would the embassy list this as an acceptable proof of address? -

Double-Edged Sword of Global Warming: Saving Lives from Cold but at a Deadly Cost
just reading the climate change deniers on this thread gives you a good impression of their shortcomings - they clack a basic understanding of MMCC - eve trying to argue about what to call it, and cling to simplistic interpretations thinking they. are the only ones who have noticed and and cherry-pick anomalies without realising that this makes them look even more out of touch and lack the skills to either understand or argue against. They need to watch this video by John Cleese on being stupid - -

UR CNY Celebration?: Will you add Chinese OpenSource AI to your computer tonight?!!!
Please just watch the many vids that are appearing now, on the Internet.... Nothing difficult about it.... And, I think....Much Fun to watch, and participate in, as much as one might have interest in doing so. -

UR CNY Celebration?: Will you add Chinese OpenSource AI to your computer tonight?!!!
Yes. Such parochial views are full of ignorance and not forward thinking, and not helpful to Mankind. I know a lot more about China than even XiJinPing, as you know. And, the Chinese are nothing of not helpful. If I had my wish, I would replace all/most of the people now inhabiting the USA with good-quality families from China. THIS is MY idea of MEGA....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just replace most of the people in America with Chinese families. I have already discussed this, obliquely, in many of my Topics here. I am, and have always been....VERY PRO Chinese culture. Such a work ethic, even better than the Protestant work ethic. And, Chinese people, in my view, are much more caring about their friends. THIS is why I came to Asia, in the first place. And this is why I choose to live in Asia until the day I am cremated, with the smoke from my funeral pyre, rising in rings up to the Heavens. I am NOT JOKING, here, friends. I came here to enjoy and live in the Culture of China, the HAN Culture, might I add..... I do not see a clear and present danger in anything I have found here, and quite the contrary. Just sayin'' I do love China. I am....as has been said..... And OldChinaHam, and have been so for many, many years, since back in 1971,,,in fact. -

Major loophole in Mexican residency that you may want to initiate if visiting North America
If you know anything about Mexican residency, you would know that the financial requirements have gotten very high and they go up quite a lot every year. Options include by income OR money in the bank including retirement accounts. Most retired expat types would have enough in retirement accounts to qualify for temporary residence (which leads to permanent residence four or five years later without ever needing to show money again). But suppose you can't qualify or you're worried that the requirements will be too high if you ever dp want to do this in future years. Well, believe it or not, there exists an amazing LOOPHOLE that gets around the financial requirements, basically getting you into the temp residence path towards perm or even citizenship. It's referred to as REGULARIZATION or officially RNE (Registro Nacional de Extranjeros). It sounds too good to be true but it has been true for many people moving to Mexico for years already. It's a program renewed or not renewed annually so no guarantee it will still exist when you want to use it and/or the rules could change as shown in the link. So what do you need to do? Visit Mexico as a TOURIST at least once and then you might be eligible for his loophole many years later. So what's the point? Well if Mexico is on your list as a possible backup to Thailand, and you're visiting the U.S. or Canada anyway, a little trip down south could set up for this option later.
