Trudeau Calls for National Support as Trade War with Trump Escalates
I don't know what's more entertaining....watching the lunacy of this encore Presidency, or listening to his cult rationalize and justify all of his actions and statements. It's a bit like the movie "Being There", with everyone interpreting the meaningless sayings of the idiot Chance the Gardener. It's also like a horror movie, where some poor character enters a room thinking she's safely fooled the killer, while the guy with the chainsaw is behind her door. The audience knows he's there and she's about to get slaughtered, but she is feeling relief that---in her mind---she escaped. Cue the blood curdling screams and the gruesome dismemberment...... There is a slight change in tone , however, from the campaign lies to today's reality. In the campaign, he said he could fix everything in a day. or regarding the war in Ukraine, an afternoon. Now he says Americans "must be prepared for some pain". Yes, he committed crimes, but America was sentenced to 4 years hard time. His sycophants got their dream candidate, but are going to see it's really a nightmare. By the way, the word "pain" has been borrowed from Elon Musk, who used it in regards to his ideas for DOGE. It seems Elon might still be President-in-Fact, and with a $3-400 billion nest egg, he hardly cares what happens to the masses. -

Gunfight Erupts Over Family Dispute: Several Injured in Pattaya
Picture from responders. A violent shooting incident in Pattaya has left multiple people injured after a dispute between two families escalated into gunfire. The altercation, which stemmed from a conflict between two young girls, led to a confrontation between their parents that quickly turned violent. Police Lieutenant Colonel Jirasak Aepfang, an investigator at Nong Prue Police Station, received a report at 22:06 regarding a shooting incident with multiple casualties. The incident occurred along the railway road near Soi Siam Country Club in Bang Lamung district, Chonburi. Upon receiving the report, he informed Police Colonel Tawee Kudthalaeng, Superintendent of Nong Prue Police Station, before rushing to the scene with officers and rescue teams from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation. Emergency responders arrived to find three injured victims. Ms. Panicha Mahaniyom, 36, sustained a gunshot wound to her left arm and required 10 stitches. Mr. Pramot Pudchan, 29, was shot in the right leg, while Ms. Thanyawan Phromthep, 35, suffered a severe gunshot wound to the back of her head. All three were quickly transported to nearby hospitals. Authorities discovered over 10 spent bullet casings scattered across the scene, along with bloodstains trailing along the road. Witnesses, who had fled into nearby woods during the shooting, later emerged to provide statements to the police. Ms. Panicha recounted that both parties had agreed to meet to settle a previous conflict peacefully. The dispute originated from a fight between two young girls, a 13-year-old "Na"and a 14-year-old "Fe", which had already led to a physical altercation. However, Fe's parents insisted on arranging a formal discussion. "When we arrived, we tried to mediate and even suggested resolving the issue with a one-on-one fight," Panicha explained. "But before anything could happen, a group of over ten people from the other side suddenly pulled out firearms and opened fire at us." Ms. Atitaya Obun, 27, another victim, described how she was physically attacked before the gunfire erupted. "I initially got into a fight with the other party, and then a man named Nut kicked me. Suddenly, gunshots rang out-more than ten shots in total. The shooters then fled the scene on motorbikes and in cars." CCTV and dsah-cam footage from a vehicle at the scene captured parts of the altercation, including heated arguments and the moment gunfire erupted. The footage shows the attackers fleeing immediately after the shooting. Lieutenant Colonel Jirasak and his team have gathered evidence, including CCTV recordings, and have identified some of the suspects. Police are currently tracking down those responsible to face legal action. -- 2025-02-03 -

These are the establishments were probably the ones that didn't "donate" enough into the police fund, if you know what I mean....
