Just a money spinner for the Thaskin clan ( If the revocation occurs, the current owners will require compensation, which will be calculated based on the land’s current market value,)  this was the Wat Dhammamikaramvoraviharn, land and was basicly stolen from them !!

This land was donated to her local temple when the landowner died.

How the Shinawatras managed to accuire it and turn it into the Alpine golf course is another Taksin money grabbing  mystery.

Well the OP is quite clear on that, it was sold to them by the Mahamongkut Ratchawittayalai Foundation, who managed the deceased estate.

Anutin emphasised that this issue does not suggest any conflict between his Bhumjaithai Party and the Pheu Thai Party led by Paetongtarn. A Pheu Thai minister previously claimed that a disputed land plot at Khao Kradong in Buriram province, a Bhumjaithai political stronghold, belongs to the State Railway of Thailand.

Anutin doing a tit for tat!

Surely if any compensation is available it should only come from the Mahamongkut Ratchawittayalai Foundation, they illegally sold the land , not the tax payers

This is correct !

Noem Chamnanchartsakda bequeathed the land to Wat Dhammamikaramvoraviharn, with a caveat that the land was not to be sold. but the Mahamongkut Ratchawittayalai Foundation,  illegally sold the land, this has been going on for years !!

The cards always fall in Tonys favor in Thailand......So I would bet big some how Tony keeps the land and turns that golf  course into condos....

All tax free of course....lol

Does this clan have any values or ethics?

This could be a good thing. The Shinawatra family could make money from the government again.

Funny how the Shinawatras  benifit financially when corruption is foremost in land accusisions. This is not the first shady land deal involving this family.

Yes, I recall watching the proceedings on TV news when the paymaster 'bought' the very large piece of gov't land that his then wife wanted for her. The paymaster was all big smiles. The several very senior ministry officers present all looked very concerned. It seemed to me they were all thinking this is totally illegal, because by serious Thai laws politicians are totally banned from buying government owned land and property. In reality all countries have such laws to block politicians from buying the country. Very understandable.
