Escape to the south? Forget it.

A bit better but far from healthy/normal.

First green spot is in Malaysia.

The village head about 30 minutes ago had another public meeting and it was crazy tense.  I guess a villager last night decided to make charcoal on the edges of the village.  Villagers were knocking on the head man's door last night and he went off this morning at a public meeting.

The offender shows up screaming and revving his motorbike.  Almost went to blows and I wouldn't mess with our village head. He is definitely capable of extreme violence and have strong feeling it isn't going to end well for the charcoal dude.  At this point he is too high on on charcoal fumes and ganja to realize but bad things are coming his way.

Too late.

Almost impossible to find a green spot this morning.

Another poster wrote about Ko Samui at about AQI 130.

Explain that with agricultural and waste burning?

This genius minister avoids to name one of the biggest problems in pollution by vehicles with poor exhaust standards. For Bangkok and other areas the use of coal power stations and lot of industry adds up.

Cambodia is on fire, partly thanks to Mitr Phol the Thaib sugar giant, and the smoke travels over de Gulf.

I remember the Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine spreading nuclear waste as far as Scotland. We were not alliwed to eat vegetables at the time (yeah !).
