Converting TV to Kids ED private school

Converting visa exempt tourist entry by air to Childrens ED private international school:

 

Can not get clear info concerning procedures, validity, investment for Kids ED visa at international private elementary school. 

Searched the forums but could not find this topic.

 

Visa agent says can not help, school provides documentation you go to immigration yourself.
I understand there is no business so not much interest, understandable, but still need clear info and outlook.

 

School very vague, not much info.

 

When do I have to go converting the kids visa exempt 60 day visa exempt tourist visa to ED,

after X days and how many more days the visa needs to be valid?
Can an agent do this or which parts can an agent do if any?
Who goes, the parents both ,one, also the kid?
Payment due? How much and when 
Do we get the visa same day applying? We go back to get it? How long it takes? 
Apart from school documents what do we provide? Guess passport?
Then the visa is valid for how long?
When are extensions due and how much the price
When do we need documents from school confirming kids are still going there, every 30 days?
Can kids be also on dependent or Dtv visa or has to be ED? Or depends on school policy?
Do kids have to do 90 day report or it does not matter because we go there every 90 days anyway?
Total cost involved 
How to renew? Or runs out after 1 year for example.
If we change school we start again?
Further recommendations?

First up assume you are parent of non Thai child.

Child can be a dependent.

What is your status in Thailand.

What visa or extensions do you have in Thailand.

Yes, parent of non thai kid, correct

Entered same time as myself, me on DTV soft power.

Did not apply for dependent DTV as school said ED mandatory!

Now which law says that? I am not so sure any more.

 

DTV much better as longer and no re entry permits

potentially (we will see 🙃) also cheaper to be on DTV.
