If you compare crime rates between USA and skandi countries it's not even close.Add in standard of living etc

Yes I covered those people under the brainwashed label. Happily letting a goverment spend your money how they and not you choose is just not rational. I will admit if the country was run with it's proper citizens wellbeing only in mind, it could be an interesting experiment. Fossil fuel rich and tiny homogenous population Norway could have done something similar with success. But no, the governments all kissed the WEF, Soros rings and threw open the borders to the very worst kind of scum with their hatred of European culture and their love of violent religions and all its trappings.

If it's security that's the problem then sell the land that doesn't have massive natural resources to the U.S.  so the Greenlanders retain the wealth and charge the U.S. for stationing security forces there.  A win-win situation.

So they don't need Greenland's resources then? They just need a way to patrol that part of the Atlantic. Just lease part of Southern Greenland and build naval bases there. U.S. has its patrols and Greenland keeps its country, sovereignty and resources. Job done. I should be President.

They need the resources as well of course.  Also once the ice melts the US will have a better passage to Europe and Asia via this region, so there are plenty of reasons why the US would want this territory.

 

It is clearly part of America if one looks at the map.

The big mining corporations move in to exploit the islands resources (the real reason for Trumps demands). The indigenous people, who are largely Inuit, will be ignored, the Danes amongst the population will be expelled. We all know what happened to the Indigenous peoples within the mainland US when any resource wanted by big businesses was found on their lands!

 

Within 10 years Greenland will be like Puerto Rico with a much higher chill factor, the native people rotting in reservations, and the landscape scarred by mining.

 

Incidentally "The Greenlanders, who are not native to the island have been exploited by the Danes for years." The Greenlanders, Danish or Inuit, have been living on the island for longer than the USA has existed - arguably in fact for longer than White people have been settled in North America!
