Then I would ban military flights as the cost is hidden from the public and demand commercial flights, where the cost is more transparent and the American pubic would find out how much they are spending on the flights. Then when an agreement was made, check the visa status of all flight crew on landing illegally. Bwaahaha Of course, that would never happen. No, because it's stupid. 2

Or is that Trump's imagination? Do you expect that Columbia follows all their citizens anywhere they go to make sure they don't enter the USA? 1 1

US, Colombia reach deal on deportations; tariff, sanctions put on hold | Reuters But I was told by the forum left that tariffs would cause inflation and only be bad for Americans? Hundreds of times. Like every claim they make, this was clearly totally wrong. Columbias rulers got their botties spanked and backed down in double time.🤣😅 Trump 2.0 = so much winning it's hard to handle. Standing back, and standing by, for more awesomeness from this amazing Patriotic President and his team. 2 1

Does that mean the USA can just send a military plane to Columbia and dump everybody there? Or would it make sense to coordinate these actions a little? I don't think Columbia wanted to coordinate these actions a little. They just didn't want to accept their citizens back. According to media reports, it was only after Trump threatened tariffs etc on Columbian imports that they relented. Perhaps The UK should threaten France with tariffs if they don't take the illegals who left their safe shores back. 500% on imports of frogs' legs or something perhaps? 3

I understand your idea, and I think the UK should send them back to France. But I am not so sure France will be impressed with some UK tariffs.

That would not work as well, as Britain is a dwarf economy compared to the US. It just does not have the clout of the US economy. And France does not depend on the UK market in the same way as Colombia depends on the US.

Hmm, we need to cut imports of an export from France that they currently sell a huge amount to the UK. Let me think... what does the UK import from France in huge quantities? I know!! Electricity!! Er.... wait a moment.... 🙂 1

The Columbian President complained about the way the deportees were treated. In addition the US had not asked permission to return the people, nor for landing rights for the deportees no surprise whatsoever landing was denied. The Columbian President actually made the Presidential plane available for the deportees which I assume would have won her political points. If trump asked any favours from Columbia in the future he wouldn't get much of a welcome mat; bullies are disliked, except in the one way street of MAGA world. 1 1

It was open. and it likely cost them the election. The bipartisan border bill was a POC designed to let more people in. SunnyinBangrak Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago President Petro is having a total meltdown! Im actually embarrassed for him. His rage confirms Trump was RIGHT AGAIN and south America were not sending their best and brightest to Bidens America. Seems they were indeed jailbirds, gangbangers, violent criminals and drug dealers. Who told us all this? You betcha he did. "Colombian President Gustavo Petro has accused Donald Trump of being a 'white slaveholder' who is on track to 'wipe out the human species' after being humiliated by the US president in a dsipute over migrants." https://mol.im/a/14328409 Rhetoric so wild and silly I have to wonder whether Petro is one of our resident laptop deniers here😆
