Best way to transport big-heavy-ish stuff between provinces

Hello

I need to ship ~60kg of clothing back home to the family in Isaan. We're in central Thailand.

What is the best way to do this?

- Cost

- Complexity

- Doable from home (pickup, etc)

Any tips, experiences, etc would be warmly welcome

Cheers

Driven by whom. Loaded/unloaded by whom.

Can't be me.

Those 'big orange ones' driven by company drivers, they have done similar before!

Where are you?  Or where are you delivering to? Maybe I have a number.

My wife gets bales of clothing from the Cambodian border, there are haulage services in most cities, you just need to know where to look.

It’s small change, i think she pays 150B, way cheaper than any other courier or post office, you wouldn’t want to send anything delicate, but clothes it’s fine. Usually it gets delivered to the house by pickup, the guys are good at moving the bales, I would say they weigh 30-40kg. Other times big lorries deliver manned by a couple of migrant workers, sometimes the sender messes up and we have had to go pickup from a depot or side of the road.

Yeah there's probably a few things in there that we wouldn't want to get lost or thrown around.

But interesting idea nonetheless!

Post office.

Reasonable prices....just take some ID

I have used the PO, I wanted to send 50 kg of sesame seed to Issan, PO said max weight was 25kg, so I just put it in 2, 25 kg sacks, got they in 3 days.

You will have to break it down into 3 boxes, or whatever, as has been said, not expensive.

Kerry are the same, max wight 25kg.
