And that's why we must not act like a normal 70 yo

Hobbling along wearing red cardigans etc with long socks and tailored shorts

We must go out there and embrace culture diversity and sexuality

A local bar I used to stop by and have one or two when I first got here a few years ago was always at least a happy place with well known music or maybe any number of sports on the TV (golf, rugby, football (both of them) etc) and you might even meet someone with an upbeat positive outlook in the present tense, now I walk by this place and its Russians all individually staring ahead with a cell phone in one hand and a look like deer in the headlights. Makes me physically ill.

Are you aware, that in Russia, they believe that someone walking around smiling is a fool?  As in, has mental problems.  I've known  couple, nice guys, but they almost never sit around smiling.

In Russia, smiling is literally rude. Never walk into a store and smile at the clerk.

We weren't talking about VT6 but now that you have brought it up.

I read about residents complaining regularly, saying the noise coming from the beach, many times throughout the year they set up stages along the beach front, bands playing loud music through the night and early hours.

So BEST LOCATION,......... Nope.

So you read about it and i actually live there....yes there are times that u get noise from various beach festivals...that is part of being in a location right on the beach within two minute walk of the center of a city.

But please tell everyone it is practically unbearable to live here as way too many people already seem to want to live in a great location right on the beach next to the mall.  Oh the horror of having a dozen or so nights a year when it is loud for a few hours compared to living in a place with blaring karaoke barking dogs and worse every night of the year.

Loneliness can have life threatening consequences.

So, they're in Pattaya for their health.

Science. 😄

Loneliness can indeed have life-threatening consequences, as research has strongly linked social isolation and loneliness to an increased risk of various health problems including heart disease, stroke, depression, dementia, and even premature death; essentially, prolonged loneliness can significantly impact a person's overall health and wellbeing, potentially leading to fatal outcomes.
Key points about the dangers of loneliness:
Physical health impact:
Loneliness can contribute to high blood pressure, weakened immune system, and increased risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Mental health impact:
It is strongly associated with depression, anxiety, and increased suicidal thoughts.
Cognitive decline:
Studies suggest a link between social isolation and cognitive decline, potentially increasing the risk of dementia.
Stress hormone elevation:
Feeling lonely can lead to increased cortisol levels, which can have detrimental effects on the body.

Loneliness and losers are going hand in hand

Companionship can be found in Pattaya, but it is of the paid variety, and if you're lucky you'll find someone who has a good attitude and is fun to hang out with for a few days.

Nothing really beats the companionship of a woman who has your back all the time, is fun to be around, and is a dear friend. That is a very satisfying and fulfilling dream to live out. It is very unlikely you will find that kind of gal in Pattaya.

The problem is now that the companionship lasts about 30 minutes. In the good old days you could get a lady to be with you all evening, all night and most of the next day.

That is very true. I remember those long time encounters, however one can negotiate for time. When they ask how long I always say a minimum of 2 hours, and negotiate for that. When we get back into the room I show them the clock. There are ways to control anxiety levels and create a level of comfort in spending some time and not being rushed.

Move to south Jomtien and you can live in the slums of old Stalingrad. I agree this place is no more. It was good for saving some money for a while but now its a sad story that nobody wants to read.

Yet, here you are…

Great place for Russians who stay up all night long working not caring one iota about disturbing anyone or the numerous chair draggers and imbeciles who sneeze with all their might on the balcony numerous times a day. If you like San Quentin VT (any of them) are the places for you. I could add to this but what for, obviously some people are numb to it and belong there.

Wow you must be a fun person to be around..not!

20 years ago nobody was lonely in Pats.

Just a stroll down many sois was enough for the pretty girls to jump out at you and drag you into the bar to play pool or connect 4.

Sadly now it's just fat lasses playing with their phones..

I felt more loneliness when I was married to a Thai girl than I feel now without any woman.

Better to be lonely alone than to be lonely with a beloved partner who doesn't care about you.

Why didn't she care. Thai women are most loving submissive creatures on the planet 💯🥰
