The webform doesn't work. As soon as you press submit you get the message " fill in the form again"
Their call center also doesn't work, either in Thai or English, since I let a Thai person call them, and if they press the number for the relevant department, nothing happens and the voice message just keeps going. At the end it says, you didn't press a number, and repeats.
I have spent at least 1 hour on phone credit calling Shopee call center, and they have given me wrong information after wrong information.
They are as useful as a chocolate teapot.
At the end they gave me an email address, which I messaged, and then they sent me the email with a link to request transfer to my bank account.
I had to upload copy of passport and copy of bankbook. They say it can take 30 days to receive the money.
Since Shopee Pay is a company providing financial services, I'm sure they have to comply with rules set by the BoT, and that banning an account with funds inside, without prior notice, is against some of those rules.
Does Immigration law state that using an agent is not permitted? It has never been an issue for many decades so why are you expecting "surprises" or are you just fear-mongering?
