He's smart enough not to use his tongue. Ya gotta give him that much. That brown smudge on Musk's nose and half of Congress' is indelible now.

It's like in the doomsday movies where people can tell if someone has engaged in cannibalism by just looking at them.

I was born when Truman was president, and my impression of the GOP has long been that they were the tough guys ("first strike" stalwarts, "bomb them back to the Stone Age," "love it or leave it" etc).  Not any more!  They let this reality-show clown take over their party and the country, and reduce them to wimps.  How will the US get passed this?  I suspect a military coup, but the question there is will it be lead by intelligent people or the nuts like Mike Flynn.

$1 million is not a life changing amount of money. If you are 65 years old, it buys yiu an annuity of less than $49,000. Given the average Greenlander is wealthier than the average American, that's your price to betray your country?

$1 million is all it takes you to become pro-Chinese Communist/Pro-Russian. You're cheap.

He sure is.  What he's saying in essence is if Satan tried to buy one's soul, it's only worth $1M then guess what sport? When you die you will I guarantee that you will spend eternity in Hell.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it

What makes you think they have to give up self-governing status? Do a little research on US Territories.

AFAIK any Samoan would cheerfully gut and broil any mainland American.

How many Samoans do you know? Or is this yet another cheap shot at Americans?

None. I am quoting from one of your most under-appreciated authors, John D MacDonald. A keen observer of American culture.

No quotation marks or attribution? When I quote someone, I put their name on it... I don't plagiarize to make others think I am smart - - so, then it just stands as another one of your cheap shots at Americans... well, "tan me hide when I am dead Fred."

Sorry to rain on your parade buttercup but those coins wouldn't finance very much

Sorry, you do not know me, otherwise you would note sarcasm. Suggest you leave off the derogatory “buttercup”. Unproductive … it is, at times very difficult  for me but attacking folks personally does not encourage civil discussion.

Are you aware of the US Constitution? It's called the First Amendment Freedom of Speech.  If the moderators had issues with what I said to you I'm sure I would have heard back from them.  Anyway I was just expressing an opinion so you need to get over it

Oh, I maintain a realistic balance. Billions of souls in the world, I have no need to “get over it”. Water off a duck’s back, I just move along …

What is the relationship between the US constitution and posting on Asean Now?

Here's the answer.  For every question that one asks, they should know the answer to that question.  So take the initiative and get moving.  When you're done get back to me

No answer, as expected. Your point was nonsense.

Looks like the Danes are scraping up some coin to make an offer on California.

If they agree to take Newsom and Bass, maybe we can work out some kind of a straight across trade?

A crowdfunding group in Denmark has proposed that their country acquire the US state of California for $1 trillion and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.

Danes offer to buy California — RT World News

Who said that GoFundMe was useless?
