Patong - The Wake
Very true HP and it reminds me of the words from the song by the Australian group, Australian Crawl, sung by James Reyne and the line goes, "any day above ground is a good day......" And to top the lot I had a lovely lunch with my daughter in Phuket town today and we did a bit of shopping and had a few laughs and she gave me a new angle to living here because I was saying that sometimes I was fed up with Patong and had often thought of going back to New Zealand or even England, to which she said that when she went to France for six months she missed Thailand so much (as she would do because she was born here) and the reason.......everything you want or need is so close at hand and so convenient that why would you live anywhere else? I hadn't thought about it that way and when I did, I realised that she was right, because I can walk to shops and restaurants and have a huge choice, and if I want I can drive out of Patong to other restaurants and sights and everything is close at hand, even though the traffic is horrendous, so it put a new positive aspect on this place for me. -

Engine oil not leaking but decreasing
Car is 4 years old bought as brand new. 25k mileage and there’s no smoky exhaust. no milky emulsion in the radiator or stuck at oil dip stick. As I googled maybe it’s burning in the engine and need to change the pcv valve? I had the oil changed on October at a new store that just opened back then called autobacs. Mechanics looked like kids and not even wearing the stores uniform and things like nova suggested I ain’t a mechanic and I can’t even jack up the car. So yeah just out of curiosity, should u get the car towed if the oil is in the radiator? -

US Aid Freeze Linked to Refugee's Death at Thai Border
That's what the Communists want you to believe, to make you resent your own government. Its a lie that you have been fed by people who want to destroy the United States and its principles. Per head, US citizens provided $211 in international aid. The EU provides a larger sum in totality, compared to the US, about 40% of all aid, about $218 per EU citizen Here's the thing. The US is complaining about increased Chinese influence. Currently, China only provides about $5 billion in aid. The result of this cut in international aid is for China to increase its aid and influence. The US is being sabotaged from within by Communists. Trump will probably do his nut when he finds out the Port of Los Angeles tried to install entirely Chinese made security equipment to protect the Homeland from terroritistic materials. Contract negotiated during the Bush era, stopped during the Obama era. Serious questions have to be asked about the role in the US government of a naturalised US citizen who appears to have obtained an immigrant visa through fraudulant means, and who is largely financially dependent on the largesse of the Chinese Communist Party.- 1
