A gas explosion at a factory within Bang Pu Industrial Estate in Samut Prakan has left three people injured, prompting an urgent response from emergency services.

The incident occurred in Soi 8 of the industrial zone at approximately 21.45 on 1 February. Initial reports indicate that the explosion took place within a factory handling nitrogen gas, though the exact cause and what was involved remains under investigation.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation and provide medical assistance to the injured. Among the three casualties, two suffered minor injuries, while one individual sustained serious injuries. All three victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities quickly cordoned off the affected area, restricting access to prevent further risk and allow safety officials to conduct a thorough investigation. Experts are expected to examine the site on 2 February, to determine the precise cause of the explosion and assess any potential hazards.

Local officials have assured the public that all necessary measures are being taken to prevent further incidents and to ensure the safety of workers and residents in the vicinity.
