"From 2009 to 2019, USAID partnered with EcoHealth Alliance on the PREDICT program, which identified 1,200 new viruses, trained 5,000 people globally in disease detection, and enhanced 60 research labs. This partnership provided the CIA with a direct channel for embedding human assets within biological research facilities worldwide in exchange for funding and technology transfers."

When was Trump President first time around?

I see Rubio is now in charge of USAID!

Trump was a bit busy.

Do you support the changes now, or not?

You know... you post your Anti-Trump hate always. But, i only read about the politicians complaining for the most part. So far Trumps actions with USAID seem appropriate. They need to look at how the spending is being used. I do not see too many normal people complaining about his actions. When millions are being wasted at their expense. Audits need to take place and accountability needs to be shown. The Dems can complain all they want to but the people want change and a better place to live with a better future and lower costs. This is Trumps time to do what he can to appease his campaign promises with which he was voted for to do. You do not even give it a chance because your hate rhetoric only sees something to complain about.

Are you even an American or are you just someone wanting something to complain about?

If you are American then you, like everyone else should give the man a chance to show his reasons. So far he has found just cause for his actions. There is wasteful spending of the taxpayers money causing the national debt to increase drastically each year.

If you don't have a clue about the Constitution, I guess Trump's actions would seem appropriate. But given that USAID is funded by Congress, Trump has no authority to dismantle it. As the Chief Executive has has sworn to faithfully uphold the laws. Not undermine them.

There is zero doubt that Trump and Musk are trying to install a dictatorship in every way they can get away with. They will push everything to their absolute limits. They won't even listen to supreme court rulings if they go against them. Voters were warned but they were just too stupid to heed to the warnings.

There is no doubt to you.

The world sees the reality of what Trump is.

Maga cult members will take some time or at least until the leapard eats their face.

Even the Kremlin gets that the USA democratically elected a dictator. They are thrilled!

The constitution does not say the US must send money to another country for condoms. It does not say we must send money to ughurs or anyone else other than aiding Americans. You want to quite laws and the constitution then perhaps you should show links as to what laws or what part of the constitution he violated by shutting programs down not intended for aiding americans?

You don't even understand the issue.

You clearly don't understand that the Consititution delineates the duties and limitations of various branches of government. It doesn't address the issues of the day. That's what legislation is for. Once the sitting President signs a bill into law, that's it. It the duty of the executive branch to enforce that law.

I agree with you that he seems to be acting on that assumption.

What's the issue?

When all is  said and done and every agencies books are open through DOGE efforts!,the funding or proposed  funding of

millions of dollars worth of Condoms might be small potatoes!

Smart move for the Head of state (The POTUS) to assign the Sec of State (Rubio)to oversee the USAID department!
