RFK Jr.’s Confirmation Hearings Prove He’s Unfit to Lead HHS

RFK Jr. is unfit, just like most of Trump's nominees. But the most shameful fact in all of this is Trump was elected president. I'm extremely disappointed and even a little fearful of my fellow US citizens. I'm very happy that I now live in Thailand and can just watch all the catastrophes develop from my easy chair on CNN, as long as they keep their hands off my Social Security payments.

Just tells you most voting US citizens are kwai.

Actually, "most" voting US citizens did not vote for Trump. He only got 49.7%, so "most" of the voting US citizens voted for someone else. Harris got 48.2%, so she only lost the popular vote by 1.5%.
2024 Presidential General Election Results

Only ~78% of voting age are even registered, ~262M of ~335M - wiki & google

Only ~58% bothered voting either, ~52M, of 262M voted for either - wiki

Yes, those are very disappointing figures. Of course, some of those who should be eligible to vote are, in some states, kept from registering because of questionable qualification demands. However, I agree that voter registration and turnout are very disappointing.

I voted here, online, from Thailand, and found the procedure surprisingly easy.

He is unqualified only on the criteria of the pharmaceutical industry, which are determined by profitability, not effectiveness to heal (nor to prevent harm).

In the interests of public health one must hope that the industry's deep pockets will not decide the issue.

I disagree, and assuming you referring to states that require an ID.  Everyone should have an ID, as that's simply common sense.  There is nothing hard about getting an ID in any state.

IMHO, to vote, you should have an ID, to register & vote.

I agree you should have to "prove" you're a US citizen to be able to register to vote. I don't know how hard it is to get an ID, but I have read that in some states, it's not that easy. An extreme example would be someone who is 'living on the streets" (has no actual address.)  Also, in many states, even after you've registered, voting itself is difficult. An example would be vote by mail or absentee voting. Some states have a lot less voting access in minority areas, etc...

Anyway, IMO, registering and voting should be made as easy as possible everywhere.

Unfit and unqualified are the criterias for Trump's cabinet. He need ring kissers and those who can grovel lowest.

You expect him to appoint a few backstabbers and traitors then rather than loyal supporters who are going to stick to the election promises ?

Now you are getting it. DEI is based on merit without the bias or discrimination towards employees. But don't let the misformation gets in your way.

Clearly you don't have a clue on the DEI merit-based award process. Too much FOX syndrome.

Yes, most of what I "know" has come from things I've read or heard about it in some way, not from my own personal experience. I'm sure it's the same for you and everyone else on these forums.

If you are on the Left, all of Trumps cabinet nominations are"unfit."  Why?  You personally hate Trump.  Easy and obvious.

The the filthy political criminal left are spiteful abjects and are in fear exposure and on top of it and are currently experiencing severe diaper burns and their constituents are suffering from severe gyrating withdrawals and hallucination confusions from being hit with a cold hard reality.

Wow, something is really wrong—not just with Trump's numbers but with his innuendo that Bobby can fix it.

In 2000, the CDC reported the autism rate was 1 in 150, not 1 in 10,000—a wild exaggeration.

The rise in diagnoses reflects improved screening, broader diagnostic criteria, and increased awareness And no, this has nothing to do with RFK Jr.’s anti-vax pseudoscience, which Trump is now dog-whistling to with his misleading autism numbers.

As for where Trump got his stats? Probably from his study—you know, the one with the gold throne where he keeps his classified documents.

Trump decries rise in autism in RFK Jr. confirmation push

So, because it's only a 440% increase in autism, it's not a concern. got it.
