Police in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi province, yesterday apprehended a notorious troublemaker who had assaulted an elderly man, causing two fractures in his leg. The perpetrator, identified as 29 year old Tosapol, was found hiding in his home after the incident.

A collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the China National Space Administration (CNSA) has been greenlit by the Cabinet, as announced by Minister Supamas Isarabhakdi. This partnership will see the development of a space environment monitoring device by Thai researchers.

Bangkok's New Bus Shelters Spark Controversy Over Design

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is under fire for its recent bus shelter project, with critics claiming the shelters fail to shield commuters from Thailand's intense sun and rain. The BMA has introduced two shelter designs: a smaller one measuring 2.3 by 3 meters, housing three people, costs around 230,000 baht; and a larger model, 2.3 by 6 meters, seating six, priced at 320,000 baht.

Thailand Assures Public: No Coca-Cola Recall Here

The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed that Coca-Cola products recalled in Europe for high chlorate levels have not reached Thailand. Deputy Secretary-General Lertchai Lertwut highlighted that Thailand primarily imports these beverages from ASEAN countries like Laos and Singapore, which are not affected by the recall.
