Thailand Poised to Implement Carbon Tax to Curb Emissions
ok a new tax... but that won't solve any problem.. replace old cars, fine blacksmokers or set them aside and let them solve the problem first before they can go on.. Promote walking or cycling for short distances instead of using the motorcycle for 100 meters and many more will have a bigger effect -

The popularity of God.
I'm afraid that a lot less people are willing to spend Sundays with the Big Fella in the USA as well. Americans exaggerate their frequency of worship attendance, study finds Americans significantly overstate their rate of church attendance, concludes a paper published this month by a University of Chicago business school professor National Bureau of Economic Research. Dr. Devin Pope reviewed cellphone geodata from over two million Americans to examine their behavior with respect to religion. Pope concluded that only 5 percent of those surveyed attend services each week, and only 21 per cent attend each month – based on their location on Sunday mornings as determined by their cell phone location. https://anglican.ink/2024/04/22/americans-exaggerate-their-frequency-of-worship-attendance-study-finds/ There are lots of other polls and surveys that report the same thing. This one is particularly ingenious, though. -

Where in Pattaya you go to get "affirmation of freedom to marry"
Where will you handle the matter? citizens who wish to marry in Thailand are generally required to submit a Thai declaration of the ability to marry (affirmation of freedom to marry). Contact the office where the marriage will take place to obtain the affirmation of freedom to marry. The authorities require that the signature of the citizen on such a document be authenticated by the consulate. The consulate does not provide advice or guidance on completing the statement. A Polish certificate stating that, according to Polish law, a marriage can be concluded is not required. If you need to have your signature authenticated on the affirmation of freedom to marry, schedule a legal appointment via the e-consulate system and bring: the completed (but unsigned) affirmation of freedom to marry (available at the appropriate office where the marriage will take place), your valid passport or ID card, a copy of your spouse's passport, a civil status certificate from a civil registry office (presentation of this document is not mandatory, but it is recommended, as the process may be delayed if the particular record is not available in the electronic Civil Registry and its migration will need to be requested beforehand). Remember! Contact the appropriate marriage registration office in Thailand and get information about the required documents for marriage. Be cautious when using intermediary agencies, as they often request unnecessary documents, leading to unnecessary costs related to consular actions before the consul. -
