The Biggest Doge Hoaxes About USAID Spread on X by Musk
Now I see what you are referring to. So the question is why is what Musk up to part of a coup d'etat. I would call it rather what it is characterized in another topic as an autogolpe. Someone gains power legitimately but then takes it upon themselves to trample on the laws in such a way as to benefit themselves and endanger the rule of law and democracy.. Someone like Viktor Orban in Hungary. Or Vladimir Putin in Russia. That seems to be the model that Trump is pursuing. Actually J.D. Vance's former boss, and the guy who put up the big buck to get him elected to the Senate, espouses that. That would be Peter Thiel. -

Kalasin tax office today- result!
Hi, I don't think I have assessable income, because the money is from savings prior to 2024. I have no pensions, I am not old enough. Thai allowances I am entitled to something like 430,000 baht . I cannot fully update, I haven't forgotten, however the senior officer took my phone numbers and said ' Leave it with him ' and he will phone me. I really don't want to sit in their office as though I am impatient. It's Thailand, they do things in their own sweet time. -

The Most Dramatic Narrative Shift in Modern History
Good article. Well presented. I particularly like the para: "Most governments in the world had come to be controlled by people no one elected and these administrative forces were loyal not to voters, but to industrial interests in media and pharma, while the intellectuals we had long trusted to say what is true went along with even the craziest of claims, while condemning dissent." Covid! Although it is somewhat of a turnaround, there are plenty out there who think we should have done restrictions, lock-downs, jabs stc,,,sooner. And I'm sure those same people would advocate for more of the same, when the dreadful WHO declares the next emergency. However! My take, is that the out-of-the-boxers and most independent outlets, are their own worst enemy. As far as covid goes; they are homing in on aspects - the seeds of which are often planted by those who want to retain the status-quo - that are reinforcing the whole rotten narrative. A lot of nit-picking out there! And all the while the alt-media are sicking to the idea/hoax/theory, that a virus is an entity that is not only real, but out to get us at every opportunity. Well, I've got news for them. There is no such thing as a virus that can cause illness. A virus cannot be passed from one to another, to cause the receiver to get the same perceived problem. We have to have this out. We have suffered enough at the behest of white-coats and money making interests. My musings inevitably point to vaxxes. What is the point of them if there is no virus to conquer? The answer, is no point what-so-ever. The quicker the independent media get to grips with this, and promotes this view, the quicker respect will come along. And the quicker the whole house-of-cards will fall. -

Visit to tax office, Koh Samui,(today)
I visited the Nathon branch office today and although they were very friendly and eager to help, they had no English so conversations were held through Google translate. Eventually, after 1 hour they told me I didn't have to fill in a return. Being cautious of this, I asked for the decision in writing. They escorted me to the headquarters of the Revenue Department on Samui and into the office of the director himself. He was very friendly and helpful,(even offered coffee). His English was perfect. Results as follows,(this applies to UK pensions) 1. UK old age pensions ARE TAXABLE in Thailand , if remitted, and are part of your total assessable income. 2. Government service pensions are not assessable and do not have to be declared, even if remitted, but proof of source may be required if audited. 3. Allowable deductions for the year: a) B60k personal allowance. b) B100k for expenses,(this is a blanket allowance and does not require any proof of expenditure). c) B190k if you are over 65yrs. of age Once you have deducted these from your assessable income you then get the 1st B150k at zero rate of tax. If after that you still have a positive balance you MUST file a return. If there is no balance left, you do not have to file a return but can if you wish. If. You wish to offset UK tax already paid, this should be filed along with your return, enclosing proof from the relevant authority. There is no space on the tax forms specific to this. Hope that makes things clearer.
