And Musk isn't getting rid of anything.  He's been authorized by the head of the Executive Branch to audit the books and identify dead wood that can be eliminated by the proper authorities within the framework of checks and balances.  Of course there will be court challenges.  That's all baked in, and the sooner they can work them up the appeals ladder, the better for the American citizenry.

The elected President of the USA is challenging the decision by a (minor) District Court judge.  That's how it works.  They'll sue him and take it to a higher court.  It's business as usual.  Except it's the Bad Orange Man so lefty panties are all in a wad.  And the partisan MSM is in a tizzy.

Clearly you don't understand the differencing between "challenging" and "defying." The way the executive branch  constitutionally challenges a lower court ruling is by abiding by the ruling and appealing it to a higher court.
