Being that the battle field is very much like the trench warfare of WW1 it's no surprise. Artillery was used then and is still being used and Russia has A LOT of shells stockpiled. Add to this FABs, thermobaric weapons and drones. This is what Ukraine needed instead of F16s and Abrams of which there are few. Artillery being the most important.

And we know how the western front turned out. But for Uncle Sams blood and treasure.....

As long they both want the same resources, and for the moment the territory with the resources is in hands of the rsussians, who have the best card on their hands?

The problem is, Europe is also partner in the previous deals, but right now it is all about Usa and Russia, as it seems

Exclusive: Zelenskiy says 'Let's do a deal', offering Trump mineral partnership, seeking security

That's smart because most of these resources are located in territories occupied by Russia! 😉

However, it's not impossible that one of Trump's aides may tell him about it.....

The more you post the more you show yourself to have absolutely no idea what your talking about.

"Russian forces advanced 430 square kilometres (166 square miles) into Ukrainian territory in January and are headed towards the logistics hub of Pokrovsk, according to an AFP analysis of data from the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

This marks a slight slowdown compared to previous months, after a record advance of 725 square kilometres in November and 476 square kilometres in December.

More than 80 percent of Russia’s advances in January took place in the Donetsk region, where Moscow’s troops are trying to capture the key city of Pokrovsk.

The Russian army also advanced about 50 square kilometres on the northeastern front around the city of Kupiansk."

I think you'll find that the numbers of volunteers has reduced dramatically and conscription age is 25. This is why there is a problem with the numbers available to go to war. Desertion and AWOL is also a factor.

S-a-t-i-r-e.   I'm so beyond attempting to explain reality to anyone that I immediately default to satire, parody, and sarcastic caricature.  I appreciate you still have the fortitude to explain to these people that Ukraine isn't a democracy and isn't winning.  Don't read too much into what I write about the Ukraine conflict.

The west had to wait 3 years for the USA to finally and grudgingly turn up!

Nearly the same in WW11.

Yeah, a little difference than talking to Sleepy Joe.

Actually I agree with you in the case of President Biden  aka (sleepy joe)he backed the Ukrainian nation added 2 top tier incredibly well place advanced nations to nato completely revitalized NATO exposed the Russian military for what it is corrupt and with inferior weapons.all for less than 5% of our defense budget.you know that’s the budget for keeping expansionist militarist regimes from taking over the free nations.joe Biden also had the conjones to visit in person that war zone.

Trump on the other hand believes putins security apparatus over our American security apparatus…….got impeached for trying to extort Ukraine for false information on the Biden’s squandered years of sanctions on N Korea for a photo op and stated that he and little Kim fell in love…….yup there’s certainly a lot of difference in their negotiating skills…….oh and btw the N Koreans are still cranking out nukes like pancakes……and said he won’t go to Ukraine guess that’s for suckers or for PATRIOTS!

Someone supposedly leaked the details of Trump's position on the Ukraine war.  It''s a leak, so take it with a grain of salt.

According to leaked details reported by Ukrainian outlet Strana, Trump’s alleged peace plan for Ukraine includes several key elements:
    1.    A phone call between Trump and Putin in late January or early February 2025.
    2.    A Putin-Zelensky summit in February or March 2025.
    3.    A ceasefire along frontlines by Easter Sunday (April 20, 2025).
    4.    Ukrainian troops withdrawing from occupied territories in Kursk, Russia.
    5.    An International Peace Conference mediated by global powers like the U.S. and China.
The proposed terms for Ukraine include:
    •    Declaring neutrality and renouncing NATO membership aspirations.
    •    Receiving guarantees of EU membership by 2030.
    •    Maintaining its current army and continuing to receive U.S. military support.
    •    Recognizing Russian sovereignty over occupied territories.
For Russia, the plan suggests:
    •    Gradual lifting of Western sanctions over three years.
    •    Allowing pro-peace political parties in Ukraine to participate in elections.
The plan also proposes special duties on Russian oil and gas imports to fund Ukraine’s restoration. However, it’s important to note that Zelensky’s office has denied the authenticity of these leaks, and the details cannot be independently verified.

I don't see anything about REAL security guarantees for Ukraine.

Without that, such a deal means throwing Ukraine under the bus.

The security issues were minimal until the Yanks coup in 2014, and the pushing of NATO towards Russias borders. Was always a red line for Putin, even old head of NATO admitted they ignored Putins warnings.

Putin boasted that he will take Kiev in 2 weeks. Didn't happen because of Biden's rallying the allies for military aids. Now Ukraine has a better bargaining position at the table.

He never said he would take Kiev at all, it was never his intention, that's a massive lie by the mainstream media.

He had irredentist & imperialistic views challenging Ukraine's legitimacy as a state, baselessly claiming that Ukraine government were neo-Nazis committing genocides against the Russian minority. He seized Donbas and Luhansk and Crimea. His invasion started in 2014. Nato's was another of his lame excuse for invading Ukraine. Just keep reading those Fox's and Russia media propaganda.

Even the us MSM reported on neo nazi and Ukrainian corruption back before 2022.

Show me a direct quote of Putin saying he will take Kiev in 2 weeks or even wanting to take it at all.

You old timers have had decades of MSM brainwashing, undersandable why you believe everything you're told

You can easily goggle Putin boast that he can take Kiev in 2 weeks but I will oblige with the link below.

It was a direct qoute from his phone conversation with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso BUT never mind Magadonians will always be ignorant and denialist like their leader.

It wa sa 3rd hand account of a phone call and even that States 'I could' not 'I will or  I am going to" big difference to your initial claim.  So, again, you do not have a direct quote from Putin himself saying he will take Kiev in 2 weeks. So Bidens support cannot stop something that was never going to happen.
