For everybody who wants to know if it's working or not, check here:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding#:~:text=Cloud seeding chemicals may be,the inflow of a cloud.

Are you really that thick or are you just messing about???

did you even watch the video?

they are dumping WATER onto the clouds, not 'cloud seeding chemicals'...

Pure WATER. That is why it is ridiculous.

Absolutely no effort to control/diminish the sources of the pollution.  This stunt is nothing more than "lipstick on a pig".  I think every country should put out travel advisories warning about the danger of traveling to Thailand during the burning season.

No More stupid than putting big fans in middle of Chiang Mai  hoping to blow

the smoke away , or the minister who suggested putting huge fans on top of Doi Inthanon

and blowing all the pollution over to Burma.......there let them have it ..

regards worgeordie

yeah, to add useless ideas of local govt officials - years ago in CM where I have my house, my neighbor, a German was chatting with me about the pollution, showing me his monitor from Lazada.  He said he noticed that the pollution was more prevalent than that being reported by the local govt so he bought that monitor, then went to the center where the govt got their readings - he went at the time they were reporting that the reading was being taken and he noted that before any readings are taken that fire engines arrived and sprayed water into the air for about 30 minutes all around the area of the monitoring equipment.  DUH! no wonder their readings showed so little pollution while the surrounding province was inundated with smoke from the local firesl!

How stupid can you be, seriously?

Who is responsible for these nonsensical, harebrained ideas??

It's like something out of Monty Python!

Do your research first before you start stupid Thai bashing.

There are a lot of controversial reports.

Thailand doesn't deserve tourists.

Infrastructure just isn't good enough yet.

You really do have no idea about Thailand and what it offers. You have obviously been here a short time or you live somewhere else. You are certainly in another world.🤣

Whoa Elvis...tread carefully..

The late Great King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand initiated the Royal Rainmaking Project in 1955. His interest in artificial rainmaking stemmed from concerns about drought and its impact on Thai farmers. He developed and refined cloud-seeding techniques, which led to the first successful artificial rainmaking operation in 1969. Over the years, his efforts resulted in the "Royal Rainmaking Technology," which became internationally recognized.

Agreed, but it's the only thing that "may" get the governments attention.
