What he really meant to say is he still arranging all the big bags the brown envelopes to pay everybody off and that takes a little bit of time I mean here’s a guy who stole billions left for a long time came back as a hero and now our sister the day before being sentenced to prison she with his help please the country and now misses it and wants to come back I guess the billionaire lifestyle in Europe in Dubai is a little bit getting under her skin Not to mention whatever happened with the Red Bull kid nobody has seen him is he under a rock how come he hasn’t been brought back silly question they paid off all the people in the store paying TIT

IIRC she has a Thai ID card and does not need even a Thai passport to return to Thailand.

 

Theoretically she should need a passport to catch a flight, but I think that could be waived.

How about writing an article that one criminal, who fled the country for many years, and then evaded jail with a dubious hospital stay, talks about another criminal who run away from jail?

 

Thailand should jail criminals, all of them. That would be a nice start. 

 

 

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that she is already in Thailand hiding out with Thaksin supporting her. 

Currently she is just waiting for all the hooha from the inquiries about Thaksins hospital stay. Once Thaksin sorts out those people and his daughter changes the laws for incarceration then she can make herself shown publicly again.

As of now, Yingluck's return remains under consideration, and no definitive plans have been set. The delicate balance of political atmosphere and legal considerations will likely influence any future decisions regarding her re-entry into Thai  public  political life,

I cannot say whether you are right or wrong here, but I cannot imagine countries jailing former PM's for things they did while still in office.

Look at Blair in the UK, if any PM deserved to be jailed it is him, does WMD and Iraq not spring to mind?

I cannot believe that Yingluck has done worse than that, and don't forget the soldier who led an illegal coup and stayed in office here for nine years, protected only by soldiers, guns and tanks.

Neither Yingluck or her brother have done worse than that either.

I would doubt if any country could be any worse to it's expats than Thailand. Many decent people who have taken Thai families out of poverty and made great contributions to the Thai economy and still being treated like a criminal having to do these ridiculous 90 day reports.

I totally agree.

 

Thailand treats expats, especially non-immigrants absolutely, appallingly.

 

Where the hell are our embassies??

about as useful as a chocolate fireguard!

 

Thankfully I will soon be out of Non-Immigrant status for good - but that process has been nothing but sheer blood, sweat and tears for almost two decades.
