The taxis and tuktuks are regular authorised scammer and cheat all year around. They cheat any guilable tourist/foreigner. So one time it has gone the other way round. To bad for the driver but proportionately, far more taxis and car hire people cheat.
The issue isn't merely your lack of knowledge about Putin, Russia, and this war. The real problem is that, despite having zero understanding in this area, you still presume to judge how easy and simple it would be to establish peace by betraying a Western ally, abandoning them to a maniacal tyrant, and disregarding the hundreds of thousands of heroes who have given their lives fighting against this global evil.
All I hear quite a bit, what the expats, want a be s, and use to be s, complain about is pretty much the same concerns she has.
Or maybe she just like where she's living, and prefers not to waste time coming to TH. I can definitely understand that. Especially since having thoughts of living in big city or tourist area.
Certainly wouldn't be my choice either.
Coming from UK, yea, it is too hot, possibly more crime (location dependent), and don't forget the smog.
Thanks for pointing that out. I see where that could be a problem if one is trying to prove how many days one stayed in-country. I still use fast track/priority, and IM stamps my passport, so it's easy to prove my time in-country.
