The problem of course is Trump himself. But what would people do if it were no Trump? A personal observation, I think the man is an ignorant fool, but who are his advisors?

I have very, very little interest in American politics but seems to me Musk is running the show and Trump is his puppet.

  • I agree with your observations. All the troll and aI posters are driving people into posting less. It is not surprising that the value and traffic of the site has declined since its hey day.

  • Trump threads are very entertaining    history in the making right before our eyes the "left wing" meltdown  just an added bonus  🤣

Can't argue but may well be true!?

I agree with your point but I would change "don't accept facts" to "don't accept other people can have different opinions". The word "fact" is a minefield - "facts" change - one the most famous ones was "the world is flat"  until someone proved otherwise. And in the political arena one man's fact is another man's poison!

That fact was disproved more than 2000 years ago.

The idea that the Earth is round was first documented in the 5th century BC by Greek philosophers. The Greek mathematician Eratosthenes calculated the Earth's circumference around 240 BC.

Yet, there are still people who think it's a fact that the world is flat.

There are a lot of people who ignore facts because the facts don't fit their stupid agendas.

Anyone else noticed how slowly but surely the interesting, worthwhile posters have left and have been replaced with pulp fiction?

Do you come here out of habit more than anything else? How much worse would it have to get before you'd leave too?

For me, yes and not much worse.

What are you calling worthwhile poster?  Al saw mainly Marxist/Leftist posters.  This is not me.

There are facts. And there are opinions.

Smart people know the difference.

I am happy to discuss things with people with different opinions. We (can) learn from each other.

But if people don't accept facts, then it doesn't make much sense to discuss anything with them.

Facts are like 2-1=1 not I hate Trump.

Agree ...and opinions are like a$$holes ... we've all got one, but some stink more than others.

Interesting, yes history in the making. I really enjoy watching the left wing zealots come apart at the seams, it makes my day. Can't wait for the next melt down post.

While the rest of us who are thrilled not to be American, rejoice as you travel empty-headed and empty-handed  into financial and economic disaster under your driveling clown of a 'king' and your own oligarchs.
