I don't suppose the body was so damaged it was difficult to identify?

Isn't that parroting the dumb excuse the monsters Hamas was giving?

Looks like the real body has now been delivered.

The coffin which Hamas alleges has fallen hostage Shiri Bibas has arrived in Israel and will now undergo forensic examination.

Officials confirm Red Cross collected body from Hamas in Gaza

Hamas previously claimed Thursday to return Bibas’s body to Israel along with the bodies of her two sons Ariel and Kfir. The body purported to be Shiri’s was found to be that of a Gazan woman.

So how come they have now managed to give the correct body back ?

It could have been that Hamas were testing Israel to see whether they would identify the body with DNA tests .

If Israel didn't I.D the body , then Hamas could send different bodies back next time when they return corpses

Israel has previously used DNA testing for returned bodies. Hamas would have known Israel would carry out the same procedure this time round as they did with the killed children. It really does come across an an unfortunate mistake as Hamas would know doing so deliberately would create a huge upset with the returnee process and very likely an early return to war.

They carried out the most evil propaganda stunt in front of the whole world and it was then discovered that they then outdone themselves. They had murdered the children, discovered by forensics on their return. Strangled then beat them to death. Yes they would deliberately cause upset and much more than that!! Jeez, Hamas apologists.

It is almost beyond comprehension that anyone could conceive of swapping the body of a murdered mother with that of an unknown Palestinian. Yet, on Thursday, the world watched in horror as Hamas handed over four coffins containing the remains of 85-year-old Oded Lif<deleted>z, four-year-old Ariel Bibas, his infant brother Kfir, and their mother, Shiri. What should have been a moment of solemnity was instead turned into a grotesque spectacle, with throngs of Gazans celebrating as the tiny coffins of Ariel and Kfir came into view.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GkT1iUVWMAA74WA?format=jpg&name=small

As I witnessed these horrifying scenes, I thought that surely this must be a new low, even for Hamas. But history has shown that the terrorist group is always capable of descending further into depravity. By Thursday evening, the full extent of their cruelty became clear. The coffin meant to contain the remains of Shiri Bibas instead held the body of an unknown Gazan. Even in death, even as the family endured unfathomable grief, Hamas found a way to inflict more suffering—not just on the Bibas family, but on the entire Israeli nation, which has shared in their sorrow since October 7, 2023.

The evil of Hamas is evident to anyone willing to see it. The atrocities of that day—when 1,200 Israelis were raped, tortured, and slaughtered, and 250 hostages were taken—made their barbarity indisputable. On Friday, the Israeli National Institute of Forensic Medicine confirmed the unimaginable: Ariel and Kfir Bibas had been “brutally murdered” in captivity in November 2023. What kind of mind could murder a toddler and a baby, and then use their corpses as bargaining chips?

The level of malice required to not only commit these acts but to conceive of swapping a hostage’s body with that of a stranger is beyond belief. Yet, for Hamas, this was just another move in their campaign of psychological warfare.

And yet, as these horrifying events unfolded, the so-called Free Palestine movement remained silent. The same groups that have taken to the streets in the name of “justice” failed to utter a single word of condemnation for the grotesque display of hate orchestrated by Hamas. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) and their ideological allies had nothing to say about the revelry surrounding the bodies of murdered children.

Their silence is not surprising, because hatred drives their worldview. When others see brutality, they see heroism. When others recoil in horror, they see a cause to champion. To any decent person, the sight of a crowd cheering at the sight of two tiny coffins is abhorrent. But to these extremists, it is a triumph. And when the world learned that the body of Shiri Bibas had been swapped, they likely admired the ingenuity of the deception rather than the agony it caused.

For these people, hatred is their guiding force—specifically, hatred of Jews. There is no need to sugarcoat it with euphemisms. The protests are, and have always been, driven by antisemitism. The thousands who march under the banner of “Free Palestine” are, in reality, rallying for the deaths of Jews. Never forget that the PSC first sought permission to march at 2:50 p.m. on October 7, while the massacre was still unfolding. Never forget that their first protest took place on October 14, before a single Israeli soldier had entered Gaza. Their motivation has never been justice or peace—it has always been hate.

And this is one of the reasons that Trump won the election with an overwhelming mandate. The patriot American people want a stop to the left wing socialist, globalist Democratic support of the terrorists.

I believe all Thai hostages have been released now by the terrorists but you need to ask yourself what political purpose did it serve by them taking Thai nationals hostage in the first place?
Also the massive Irony is there seems to be a backlash against Israelis currently in certain parts of Thailand and it was the Israelis that negotiated their freedom, just goes to show some backward political thinking by this country sometimes.

Still at least one Thai not released.

Also the backlash is not political, it is against the sanctimonious Israeli tourists who don't seem to respect Thai customs.  Although you could add many nationalities that are terrible tourists.

Two different issues : The Thai hostages in Gaza and some Israelis behaviour  in Pai .

   Two different unconnected issues

@couchpotato and @Nick Carter icp both technically correct and I guess I over generalised a little muddying the waters on different subjects.
By the way @couchpotato you have by far the best profile picture I think I have ever seen on AN 🤣

She is one of the twins at Mississippi Queen agogo in 1976. She was in the movie "The Deer Hunter".

I had the pleasure of both them..great days.

Now back to Hamas and hostages.

PS: Just seen on TV that another 6-8 hostages are being handed over now.

The Red Cross should be tasked with doing to DNA testing in Gaza before transfer of the remains.

Not their job to do that. They are not scientists with a mobile lab.  It's Hamas job to deliver the bodies as promised. Another  Hamas apologist.

Not only children. So many of them bodies recovered after October 7th were burnt and mutilated to such an extent they could only be identified by DNA tests.

What's missing in the OP is that Ariel and Kfir were murdered by hands and that their bodies were then mutilated in order for them to appear as if they were killed by bombing, trying to push the blame on the IDF.

There's no bottom for how low these bustards monsters will go. Every time the world thinks they've reached the bottom they dig more and more. They must be eradicated from earth.

@placnx please stop the deflection from the clear responsiblites that Hamas were under and failed even in this horror show of theirs. It is highly disrespectful and avoids the facts on the ground.

UPDATE:

Shiri Bibas’s body returned to Israel; officials assess she was ‘brutally’ murdered with sons in Gaza

image.png

Announcement comes after Hamas finally delivers body overnight, a day after her 2 young sons were determined to have been murdered in cold blood by terrorists in Strip.

According to assessments by Israeli officials issued after the body had been identified, Shiri was “brutally” murdered along with her two boys, Ariel, 4, and baby Kfir, nine months, in November 2023.

The announcement came a day after Hamas handed over remains that it said were Bibas but turned out to be a Palestinian woman.

Get a life, not a terror apologist, just airing thoughts as personally cannot understand the advantage of returning the incorrect deceased. How you going with the twists and turns of trump's pronouncements? Must be annoying having to constantly change your tune to keep up with his change of messaging with Israel.

Oh do give us all a break; is there nothing that Hamas has done for which you won’t apologise for on their behalf … “an unfortunate mistake”

I have never acted as an apologist for terror, just trying to understand what went on as it made no sense to provoke the Israelis given they are about to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas knew exactly what they were doing.

All part of the belittling of Israelis and showing their Palestinian supporters how clever and powerful the leadership is.

She was murdered by Hamas, thats what went on. Keep your Hamas apologist disgusting thoughts to yourself if you don't want to be called out then. Now go back and read your post again to tell me that's not what you were doing. There is no other words for it than Hamas apologist.
