What an embarrassment these two are for the USA and it's citizens.

Trump & Vance are the laughing showcase to the world right now .... they are a dismal disgrace and it's sad to see the us fall into such disrepute for democracy.    More like extortion than democracy.

Well done Zelensky for speaking your mind and not cowering to idiots ....  and Vance proved he's an idiot !!

I personally despise Trump and Vance but with the situation as it is in Ukraine, real not propaganda as reported in western media, it was time to put the knee pads on. The only chance for slowing down Putin now is for the UK & France to send 100k troops each to the front line. 555 as if that would ever happen.

Genuine question - is it normal for the VP to take the driving seat when Potus meets a visiting president? Is Trump not capable of running the show himself or did he simply need his attack dog to deliver a more coherent dressing down?

I think their plan was to shock Zelensky into reality. This war is lost. Best bet is to stop it now. Should have been stopped Istanbul March 2022. The Yanks are surrendering. If Ukraine goes it alone it will be a Vietnam outcome. This is Paris Accords Jan. 1973 all over again.

You again with more pro Putin?

When at the beginning of the illegal war, that was started by Russia  by the way,Zelensky was asked if he needed to be taken out of the country for his own safety.

His brilliant and heroic response was,'I don't need a ride,i need ammunition"!!!!!

Trump never served his country,he still does not.

You come up with all kind of cowardly responses.

Are you getting paid by someone to twist the truth?

I find you pathetic.

Zelensky ran for office as a peace candidate. Once he won, having been sponsored by an Israeli oligarch, he changed his tone.

Does the UK even have 100k front line troops anymore?

Perhaps they can send the Household Cavalry- those burnished breastplates will blind the enemy as they charge through on their horses waving their shiny swords. Crimea avenged.

Orange stain is orange - cry about it cuck.

Love that post. With posters that can come up with such pertinent responses on Zelensky's side how can he possibly lose? :cheesy:

By the way, how can I be a cuck when I'm not married? :coffee1:

How many battles has Zelensky been in then? Must be a few if he's so brave. Wearing that silly cos play uniform doesn't imbue him with valour.

Is that really the main point? No it's not.

Zelensky is the president and not expected to be in the trenches / carrying a weapon. Someone must be in the background studying the whole situation and developing strategies.

Same comments for all world leaders including past US presidents.

This article states that the UK doesn't have the numbers they would struggle providing 10,000

"I mean, if we were to deploy 10,000 troops, each rotation for six months, that would effectively tie up 30,000 or 40,000 troops and we just haven't got that number available.

As of October 2024, there were 74,612 members of the UK's regular Army forces (excluding Gurkhas and volunteers), according to the latest Ministry of Defence (MoD) figures.

The only way of getting anything close to 100,000 troops would be to bring in conscription

but how many people would be signing up opposed to leaving the country is anyone's guess
