You're missing my point. Of course all jobs should be justified but it's up to the employer to justify, not the employee. That has always been the case. It's management who justify hiring, set targets and conduct appraisals. If an employee doesn't meet reasonable targets then it's management who determine further action. As for Elon getting paid, I'm sure he will be paid handsomely but he hardly needs the cash. Probably paid in Egocoin. 1

Not that I believe MSM polls, since they predicted a Harris win in 2024. If they poll their base, of course, they'll hate on Musk. And Tulsi. And Kash. And RFK, Jr. And Hegseth. 1 1
rudi49jr Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 3 minutes ago, it is what it is said: the uk needs to get tough with civil servants refusing to work in the office, come to the office or be fired and you can stay home as much as your heart desires. That old chestnut again. Yawn….. 1

I have bad memories of some of the idiot managers I've worked for over the years that had no clue what I actually did on a daily basis. I'd rather they ask me to justify my own performance. Which I have at many points in my career in the private sector. That's a lot more fair.
chercheur888 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not all Chairman Orange appointees agree: "The new FBI director, Kash Patel, has told his agency employees to hold off on responding to an email from the Donald Trump administration asking them to list their accomplishments in the last week as tech billionaire Elon Musk expands his crusade to slash the federal government’s size." 1

At first it seems like this is something really strange. But the more i researched I found that there are many businesses that have their management require filing paperwork about what they accomplished that day or week. It is a good method to root out those who sit in their offices talking on the phones or playing FB or TikTok or VDO games. To make sure they are actually working for their salaries. I am not sure though if Trump can make such a request legally except for work done by federal employees and offices. Which he has just done. Their needs to be accountability in the government and this includes what the workers who are paid so well and with great benefits are doing. Can you imagine if that was done in Thailand? Everyone would be fired haha.... There is not a business or bar or government office I have walked into and not seen someone playing their phones. 1 1

Absolutely, and it would be totally justified, as they're all bottom of the barrel picks with very, very little talent or capability. Exactly how Trump likes them.

We had quite a few excellent and productive Thai employees. The few lazy ones wouldn't be tolerated by the good ones, and they didn't last long. We did pay an excellent international salary, so we had our choice of candidates. Our IT guys (both Thai) kept herd over the interweb use from office computers and network. We also had to fill in a sheet each week for hours we'd put in- both inside and outside the office. Because we operated 24/7, a lot of hours happened outside of the business day- middle of the night callouts, etc. The Thai folks were right there with us. I do acknowledge that we had an unusually good team. Office politics were a thing, but not laziness.

That would be amazing. But is this even legally possible, or physically practicable, with so many individuals in question? Certainly there must be better ways of verifying what they were doing. And, is there actually as much fraud as some seem to suspect? Maybe yes, and perhaps not quite.

Start with the reports They need to be able to track what each employee is getting done each week and then set some metrics.
