While I agree in sentiment, people that behave poorly are not going to be convinced not by a pamphlet.

"Recommendations include curbing loud behaviour in shared spaces, respecting private property, adhering to traffic rules, observing visa limitations, dressing suitably, and negotiating courteously in markets."

I'm a bit out of the loop, but are Israeli/Jewish tourist generally known to behave poorly?

The answer is: yes they very often behave poorly. I come across them frequently in recent months. Polite, courtesy is unknown to them.

How do you know they are from Israel. Did you ask them?

I could read it, Yes .

You were claiming it didn’t exist.
That you couldn’t find it on google.
I found hundreds of links referring to it. Kindly posted one with the explanation of its origins.

So It is a saying, that you wouldn’t have heard it, that doesn’t surprise me.

I did a web search for that claim and the only results to appear were two links to this thread

https://www.google.com/search?q=The+Thais+call+us+Brits+“The+Land+of+the+Gentlemen”&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Claim proven.

Keep reading Nick, I have forgotten more about Thailand than you will ever know.

You provided ONE link from 9 years a go where an anonymous person asked a question about it on a forum  and 7 people replied .

I did  google websearch and only two results came up and those two results were for this thread on ASEANNOW

Bottom line is that you just want some admiration from someone whilst speaking derogatorily about other people from other Countries .

*Israelis are very unpopular, but everyone likes me *

Oh dear, just because you struggled with your google search doesn’t mean you are right.

i proved you wrong and kindly provided you a link that was old but explained it.

I could provide you a link for this week but I know will just argue some more.

That no Thai has ever said it in front of you doesn’t surprise me. That you have never seen any Thai language news doesn’t surprise me.

I am not arguing with you, I am telling you

    Malcom,this isn't really a discussion .

We just keep saying the same things back and forth to each other .

I was about to reply, when I realised that I have already said the same thing twice before already and I was about to say it again for the third time and no doubt you would have just  replied saying the same thing again
