A former boxer, allegedly addicted to drugs, brutally assaulted and killed his own mother in their home before fleeing the scene. In a shocking turn of events, he later posted a photograph of her lifeless body alongside an image of his own hand, tauntingly referring to himself as a messenger of death.

 

Police in Yan Ta Khao district, Trang province, received a report at approximately 12:30 on 1 March. Officers, along with forensic teams and emergency responders, rushed to the house in Koh Taew village, Koh Pia subdistrict, where they discovered the lifeless body of Sudarat 46, a local market vendor.

 

Sudarat was found face down in a pool of blood near the bathroom in the central living area of her single-storey home. Nearby, police found a pair of glasses, a hairband, and a single shoe.

 

A preliminary examination revealed that she had suffered severe blunt-force trauma, with her skull fractured on the left side and a deep wound under her left eye. The injuries suggested she had been punched or struck with a hard object. Authorities estimated she had been dead for approximately 24 hours.

 

The primary suspect in the case is Nattapon, 28, the victim’s eldest son. According to police, he fled the scene on his mother’s Honda Wave 110 motorcycle (white and red, Trang registration plate). Law enforcement has issued an alert across Trang and neighbouring provinces in an attempt to apprehend him.

 

Nattapon, a former boxer, is said to be addicted to drugs and unemployed. He had a history of violent behaviour towards his mother and other family members.

 

Suthathip, 23, the victim’s youngest daughter, recounted that her mother had four children and had been living with the suspect at the time of the murder. She revealed that her brother had frequently abused their mother under the influence of drugs.

 

On the night of 28 February, Suthathip attempted to call her mother, but there was no response. Concerned, she contacted her mother’s friends at the market, who also had not seen her. By midday on 1 March, she rushed home, only to find her mother dead.

 

“I knew immediately that my brother had killed her. He had attacked her many times before. He was completely addicted to drugs,” she said.

 

She also revealed that her brother had a criminal past, having previously been imprisoned for drug-related offences and arson.

 

According to her, the murder was likely the result of a dispute over money. Nattapon often demanded cash from their mother to buy drugs, and she usually gave in. However, on the day of the incident, Sudarat, exhausted from work, had likely refused him. This refusal may have triggered a violent outburst, leading to her death.

 

Somchai, 70, the victim’s father, broke down in tears as he recounted his grandson’s troubled past.

 

“He has been on drugs for years. He even set fire to our family home when his grandmother, a bedridden patient, was inside. He was imprisoned before, but after his parents separated, his drug use spiralled out of control.”

 

Somchai had warned neighbours and family members to avoid Nattapon, fearing he could become dangerous. His worst fears were realised when he received news of his daughter’s death.

 

“I can’t accept what has happened. He must be caught before he hurts someone else,” he pleaded.

 

Adding to the horror, Nattapon took to Facebook to post a chilling image of his mother’s dead body alongside his hand, with the caption:

“The Grim Reaper. Unstoppable Fury. Done.”

 

Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage from the area and tracking possible escape routes. Police are also questioning Nattapon’s close associates in an effort to locate him.

 

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have vowed to bring the suspect to justice.

A fugitive former Muay Thai fighter who allegedly killed his own mother has been arrested after a routine traffic stop in Nakhon Pathom. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Nattapol, was caught when he rode through a police checkpoint without wearing a helmet, leading officers to question him and ultimately uncover his shocking crime.

 

The case has horrified the community in Trang province, where the crime took place on 1 March. Nattapol, reportedly a drug addict, is accused of fatally punching and beating his mother, Sudarat, 46, inside their home in Koh Tiao village, Yan Ta Khao district. Following the attack, he allegedly posted a chilling image on Facebook posing with his mother’s lifeless body, mockingly referring to himself as the Grim Reaper.

 

His younger sister, 23-year-old Suthathip, expressed her devastation, revealing that their mother had always loved and supported her brother despite his troubled past. She also disclosed that Nattapol had previously served time in prison.

 

After committing the crime, Nattapol fled on a Honda Wave 110 motorbike (registration from Trang). Authorities tracked his movements and later found that he had been spotted in Phra Samut Chedi, Samut Prakan, where a concerned citizen recorded a video of him. In the clip, Nattapol claimed he was heading to Trat province but only had 100 baht left. The kind-hearted local provided him with food and fuel, unaware of his criminal background.

 

In a bizarre turn of events, instead of continuing his escape, Nattapol made his way to Nakhon Pathom, where he was stopped at a routine traffic checkpoint early on 2 March for not wearing a helmet. Officers noticed his erratic behaviour and a Trang licence plate on his vehicle. When questioned, he spoke incoherently, raising further suspicion. A quick investigation confirmed his identity as a wanted murder suspect, leading to his immediate arrest.

 

During initial questioning, Nattapol reportedly gave confused responses, stating that he had been in Samut Prakan the night before and was trying to get to Trat but did not know the route. His erratic journey ultimately led him into police custody in Nakhon Pathom.
