I'd choose Norway  ( sovereign wealth fund and good education system) 

 

Thailand would be around the 50th best country.

 

I love Thailand but wouldn't want to be born here.

 

Would depend who my parents were. 

If it was the same ones (ie rich parents), then I'd have liked to have been born in the UK rather than outside it, to give me more of a connection to the land of my nationality. 

If I was born to a working class family then wherever the government provides free everything.   But to be honest I'd rather not be born into a poor family.

I know I'm ignoring the basic rules of your post, but I would not want to be born today. I would not want to bring a child into the world today, and I cannot understand anybody's desire to bring a child into the world at this present time.

 

I completely understand and relate to why birth rates are declining. I think not having a child today is one of the smartest decisions an individual can make. Who would want to bring a child into this world right now, and why?

I'd be born a girl. Even ugly girls get all the sex they want and the guy has to do the work, plus buy me free dinners and carry my bags. However, I'd like to be born beautiful so I can laugh at the sad pathetic men crawling to kiss my feet in the hope I might be nice to them.

Admittedly, periods and pregnancy would be a problem, but I'd have an hysterectomy which would solve both problems.

Obviously I'd have to be born in the west- not going to have to wear a burka BS.
